It’s amazing how one episode can be so mediocre then the next could be so good. This season of Weeds has been very uneven, but things finally got going and good with this episode. It’s still surprising to see the Celia from season 1 turn into the Celia from this season. It’s been a long winded road for her this season which has seen her turn to the one thing she fought against the most which was drugs. The drug addiction plot has been a bit of a doozy this season, but it finally got interesting when Isabel scheduled an intervention. We’re not that far from the end of the season and it amazes me how Weeds can still have episodes where little things are happening, but nothing is really happening. Things slowed down a lot in this episode. There was little to no escalation of the plot, but at least some problems were taken care of in Nancy’s household. It’s good to see everyone doing something on this episode of Weeds; it didn’t feel like we had any floaters on the episode (looking at you Doug). Things happened in this episode, but there were some components that didn’t necessarily work in this episode. Silas’s relationship with Lisa, the cheese lady continues to go on a quick pace. Nancy wakes up and realizes that her house has turned into a frat house. There's nothing but guys all around and she's starting to feel how cramped up it is in the house. She wants to put in another bathroom into the house, her own personal bathroom. The problem with that is that it costs money and she can't afford it with the amount she's getting paid now. After a great episode it was somewhat surprising to see Weeds slow everything down this episode. The slow-down wasn’t anything major where it made the episode bad, but we’re used to from previous season where the plot just keeps getting worse and worse for Nancy. This season Weeds has performed below what we’re used to from the show. The step away from Agrestic seemed like it had been a step backwards for the show; that is up until now.
