Ugly Betty feels different this season; while the acting is great and the individual episodes have been decent, when thinking about the season as a whole, the episodes don’t add up very well in my opinion. This season of Betty is probably the least consistent of the series. It’s weird that after such a downer of a ending last episode that there was no Jesse in this episode; we just had Betty back to her normal self, working around the Mode office again looking for more responsibilities around the office and in this episode, she gets it. Christina being pushed down the stairs is affecting everyone at Mode because the cops are interrogating everyone to figure out who did it. Coincidentally, Daniel tells Betty not to tell anyone where he was the night before, leading Betty to think that he's hiding something about Christina's fall. With the inability to really tell the cops what Daniel was doing, it makes Daniel look guilty and he's charged with Christina's fall. After a blah season premiere, Ugly Betty came roaring back in full force. Every one of my ideas got used in this episode and it was definitely an improvement. This episode was a bigger improvement then last week and it looks like things are back to normal… for now.
