We're in episode eleven now and it's odd, but refreshing how it doesn't feel like this is the last episode. All the characters are definitely moving forward and evolving, but there haven't been any huge decisions to let us know that this is the last season ala Friends; when Rachael was leaving New York.
This week's case had Turk having to tell a father that his son was going to be paralyzed. It was a good change of pace to have Turk breaking ... Read More

I guess when I think about it, we really could have gone without certain things in this episode. Ted has never been too deep of a character or one that the writers ever wanted to give more depth, but even though it wasn’t needed, it’s still a good episode that feels like Ted’s ending.
There were only two storylines happening in this episode and the first saw Ted fall in love with the girl who sings for the pediatrics unit. The problem is ... Read More

Sometimes the best type of Scrubs episodes are the ones that focus on a single storyline and this was one of them. This episode showed how the hospital is run now that Dr. Cox is in charge and the answer to how the hospital has changed is that it hasn’t changed much at all.
When Dr. Cox took over as Chief of Medicine, I’m pretty sure that we all thought that there would be a big change at the hospital, because Dr. Cox ... Read More

The employees of Sacred Heart are running wild without a Chief of Medicine around to keep things under control. Dr. Cox ends up being the first choice to give the job to, but it’s not clear whether he’ll take the job by the end of the episode or not. Meanwhile, J.D. and Elliot contemplate how their first night of sex will go.
This was another good episode of Scrubs. We’re reintroduced to the fact that Elliot and J.D are dating again and everything ... Read More

It’s interesting that we’re six episodes deep in what could be the last season of Scrubs and the writers decide to focus so heavily on the new interns. While there has been talk of doing another season of Scrubs without the original cast, this episode has me wondering a bit about whether we’ll be seeing these interns in the next season.
I say this simply, because this episode focused a lot on the three interns that have personalities which is Katie, Ed, and ... Read More

As we near what is most likely the last season of Scrubs, it’s starting to look like the writers are slowly resolving unresolved issues between the characters that have been going on for the last seven seasons. In this episode, Elliot and J.D. go over the trials and tribulations of their relationships; it’s another good episode that starts to resolve something that’s been long overdue.
In the television world there are those couples that you’re always rooting for like: Ross and Rachael, Jim ... Read More

Everyone at the hospital has a problem with Dr. Maddox who plays everything by the book, making it hard to work the system and save people’s lives. It’s odd, because Dr. Kelso did the same thing sometimes, but looked the other way more often then not. It becomes clear that Dr. Maddox won’t change, so the doctors figure out a way to get her fired.
One thing that’s always been obvious about the Doctors at Sacred Heart is that they all care about ... Read More

It’s only the second episode of the season and Scrubs gave us our first tear jerker of the season. Scrubs is no stranger to episodes where the patients are faced with the fact that they’re going to die; we’ve seen this type of episode before, but the writers do a great job of making us want to see it again.
This is a bold move on the part of the crew because this season is somewhat limited in episodes, so you would think ... Read More

Scrubs is back for what is most likely it’s final season with the cast that we’ve grown to love. Last season’s finale was a big letdown for Scrubs fans, because due to the writer’s strike there wasn’t a chance for a proper season finale. Bill Lawrence said that with this season that Scrubs would be more like the first couple of seasons when it comes to the tone; It’s not quite the ultimate Scrubs episode, it’s a great start for what’s looking ...
