Last year, the season releases of Monk Season 5 and Psych Season 1 were offered on an individual basis as well as a double pack. It was a tremendous savings for those of us who were fans of both shows. It looks like the same thing is being done this year. Two of my very favorite TV shows on USA will be getting two relatively famous women for a few guest spots. Battlestar Galactica star Tricia Helfer will joining Burn Notice for a few episodes. She'll be playing Carla, Michael's handler. To protect those close to him, Michael reportedly has to work for Carla. It ought to be a nice present for myself, but the rumored price is shocking. Fifty dollars for twelve episodes. Holy crap! To the surprise of no one, Monk was renewed for a seventh season. What is surprising is that season seven will likely be the last one. The second I saw the Psych theme song was being sung in Spanish, I should have turned it off. I should have known better. The series has been a blast, but this episode was so ridiculous I'm left wondering what the writers were thinking.
