Finales are a difficult thing to pull off, especially when it comes to the end of an entire series. It's simply not possible to please everyone, but I thought this was a fitting conclusion to the series.
If you've watched the show over the past few seasons, then you'll feel right at home with all of what happened in the big two-hour finale. It's impossible to know who is telling the truth and when. But rest assured, the general isn't ... Read More

Instead of reviewing each of the last two episodes individually like I usually would, I decided to just combine the two since I watched them back-to-back.
The intelligence of Christina came through quite clearly in the past two weeks. It's clear where Michael gets his brains, and where Lincoln doesn't. I thought the 'revelation' that Lincoln isn't Michael's brother was entirely unnecessary. It felt like something the writers scratched off a list of unresolved items that they wanted to take ... Prison Break has been a show of lots of ups and downs for me. The first season was nearly a perfectly executed season and it's been all over the place ever since. A string of good episodes is usually followed by a string of mediocre ones and right now, we're in the mediocre territory.
The rift between Lincoln and Michael goes against everything we've come to know about the two and is something that is just out of character. It ... Read More

Wow. It's hard to believe Fox even bothered to continue airing this show. Prison Break has been off the air since December, for crying out loud and they're finally bringing it back now that Terminator has run its course.
It was a smart move to re-air episode sixteen prior to this one because it's frankly been a very long time since the show has been on television that much of the story isn't quite in the front of my mind.
After escaping ... Read More

Following the Scylla holder, Lincoln Burrows finds himself working alongside with Gretchen, Don Self, T-Bag, and eventually Alexander Mahone. There was plenty of tension amongst this little group. No one really trusts one another and there's quite a bit of pressure on each of them to get Scylla back. They get very close at one point, only to get set up. Lincoln almost gets shot within the first few minutes of the episode, making for an exciting setup ... Read More

"Going Under" continues in a string of episodes which hasn't really pleased me. It's bizarre to watch the show with Michael Scofield not in charge. He was surprisingly present in this episode even though he didn't do a whole heck of a lot. He was subdued for the most part due to the things he had to take because of the operation, but he had an interesting dream.
I didn't think I would ever see Charles Westmoreland again. I ... Read More

More lies, more back-stabbing, and more death. Yeah, it's Prison Break alright. I'm finding it difficult to wait each week for each episode for some reason. I'm not sure if it's because this is the final season and I'm hoping the writers bring the story to a satisfactory end or if it's something else entirely, but I'm definitely glued to my seat this year.
The thing with Michael Scofield and Don Self at the end of last week's episode felt ... Read More

In retrospect, my rating of an 8.7 for the previous episode was a little high. Truth is, I'm not all that pleased with the Self turning on everyone. It wasn't that surprising and I can't possibly see how this new twist is going to make the show any more compelling.
Once Lincoln Burrows got caught by the feds, I was hoping the feds would actually listen to him and come to the realization that Self turned on everyone. I couldn't ... Read More

Prison Break picked up right where it left off last week with the general and his security meeting Michael in the room containing Scylla. The general was quite smug at first but quickly changed his tune once he realized what Michael Scofield and his friends had been up to. They managed to unlock a hard drive from Scylla and escaped the complex after Sara took the general's daughter hostage.
The hostage situation played out quite well. Much of the attention ... Read More

"Quiet Riot" is an episode much different from most of the Prison Break episodes. Typically, the episodes are full of plenty of action, but this episode had a much slower pace. And this isn't necessarily a bad thing, mind you.
Last week's episode let it be known that Michael would be having surgery very soon, but this obviously interferes with everyone else's plans of getting to Scylla. I wasn't surprised when Michael ultimately pulled out of the arrangements ... Read More
