I was a little suspicious about how this episode of Lost was going to play out after hearing that producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof were going back and forth about which episode should air first, "316" or "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham". "This Place Is Death" was an episode which encompassed a hell of a lot. We not only had stuff going on with Jin, but we also stayed with the developments off the island with Sun prepared to kill Ben. I was pleased to see that the smoke monster returned, but I'm curious about that temple it was supposedly guarding. I'm really enjoying the fifth season of Lost. The series has had its dips in quality from time to time, but the story is very good right now, even when relatively little happens. Wow, Lost turned out one of the best episodes this series has seen last night. Despite being in some intense back pain, I was glued to my seat (when I wasn't moving around, trying to get comfortable), soaking in everything I could. I don't exactly know how to summarize the first two hours of Lost's fifth season. The first hour was good, but the second hour didn't seem to quite live up to what had taken place. "Cabin Fever" is easily one of my favorite episodes from the fourth season of Lost. It not only contains a fair amount of action, but it also does a good job of setting up the last few episodes of the season. It serves its purpose quite well. It's no secret that Jack (Matthew Fox) had been getting suck, but it wasn't obvious what his problem was. After some time had passed, it was clear that Jack was in poor shape. It's a damn good thing Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Bernard (Sam Anderson) were both there to help remove his appendix. "The Shape of Things to Come" happens to be one of my favorite episodes from Lost's fourth season. This was one of the few episodes which could be considered to be action-packed thanks to the assault on the camp. Michael Emerson as Benjamin Linus, Terry O'Quinn as John Locke Keamy and his band of commandos took on Locke's camp, blowing up a house and killing numerous background actors and then Ben's daughter, Alex. The disappointment continues with the reintroduction of Michael (Harold Perrineau), or Kevin Johnson, if you want to use his alias. It was spoiled very early on in the season as I have mentioned before, so I wasn't especially looking forward to this episode, not now or when I saw it originally.
