On the surface, the gang can easily be mistaken as some of the coolest guy’s on TV, but when you watch a beginning like the one on this episode, it just makes you realize how lame they actually are. After leaving Dee to get mugged, the gang take on boxing in two very different ways.
After being mugged, Dee decides to start learning how to box and has Frank teach her. When Frank goes to the gym, he’s confronted by an old, rival ... Read More

It’s episodes like this that are really what make It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia great. Taking the stupid things that these guys are involved in and somehow turning them into a complex plot is what this show does best. In “Mac bangs Dennis’ Mom”, the gang uses sex to play a dangerous game.
One of the great things about this show is how when something dramatic happens to the characters, it usually carries on to the next episode. We had Dee and Dennis ... Read More

Besides a beginning that wasn’t too funny, “The Gang Goes Jihad” was a pretty good episode. This week the gang is faced with having to get rid of their bar when the owner of the building next door purchases the land that the bar sits atop of.
The guys go to a lawyer who tells them that there’s no legal way out of it, they accidentally mistake this for the lawyer telling them that they should do something illegal to get the new ... Read More

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia had a very successful first season. Going into its second season, it was unclear whether they would change anything or not. Well the good news is that it hasn’t changed much, but I have to say that after last season’s finale, I was hoping for something better.
Don’t get me wrong; the second season premiere has it’s funny moments and even introduces a new character to the show with Dee and Dennis’s father Frank (Danny DeVito). The relationship ... Read More

Molestation is the word of the day when Mac and Charlie find out that their elementary school teacher has been accused of molestation around the same years that Mac and Charlie attended. After hearing this news, Charlie acts a bit strange leading Dennis and Dee to think that Charlie got molested. All of this made for one of the funniest episodes of the season.
Dee and Dennis teamed up this episode to try to get Charlie to come clean about getting molested. Dee ... Read More

Watching Sunny in Philadelphia, I can count on one thing in the episode and that is by the end of the episode, one or more of the four main characters will take a bad situation and use it to their advantage to gain something. The bad situation this week was a dead man.
The gang comes into Paddy’s to find a dead man in one of the booths. His granddaughter comes to visit the bar to just see where her Grandpa spent his ... Read More

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia likes finding a topic and figuring out just how stupid the gang can get with it. This week when Paddys get robbed, the guys decide to get a gun. Bringing a gun into these three guy's lives is one of the stupidest things to do, but it provides us with some good laughs.
The opening scene to the show is always one of the best moments of the show. It always starts off with a topic that's seemingly ... Read More

There's certain things that is starting to become clear as Sunny in Philadelphia continues to go along this season and it's that this crew is always up to something that you wouldn’t think a normal person would do. In this episode, Charlie fakes cancer and Mac finds himself dating a tranny. This episode had its funny moments, but in the end lacked something.
This episode starts us off with Dennis going to Charlie's place to get a basketball. The trip turns into something ... Read More

The beginning of this episode opens up with St. Paddy’s having a packed house. The guys are excited and happy until they notice that their crowd looks a bit young. They soon realize that the bar has nothing but high school students in it. Rational people would kick the kids out and start carding, but not these guys. Somehow Mac is able to get the gang into thinking that serving alcohol to underage kids is alright, because they’re in a controlled environment; ... Read More
