This episode was better than I thought it would be. It had a lot of surprises and interesting twists and turns. I have to admit I was expecting some of the plot twists. This episode picks up at Kaito Nakamura’s funeral. Hiro is about to give his eulogy when he decides to go back in time and try to save his father. He returns just in the nick of time to watch Angela Petrelli slap his daddy. He takes his father for a little ride further back in the past to see his dead wife being buried. This episode had great promise. Tonight was a stand alone episode featuring H.R.G, Matt Parkman, Mohinder, and Peter. Their purpose was to gain information and bring the fight to their door steps. They knew that it wouldn't be easy so they had to get creative. It consisted of drugging up Bennet and allowing Matt Parkman to read his mind. Maybe it wasn't creative, but it did get the job done. This episode takes us back to the months we missed during the season’s break. Four months ago Peter had some trouble controlling his powers. He almost blew up New York and everyone in it. This has to be one of the most difficult episodes i had to get through. It lacked excitement and most of the heroes' actions were predictable. Consistency is not one of Heroes' strong points. Neither is the character of Claire Bennet. Claire, for most of this episode, plays the most ignorant character in Heroes' history. This episode opens up with Hiro in a Japanese war camp against his will. We learn that Kenshi betrayed them for power and to take Yaeko as his bride. I really can’t see why he wants her so bad. Last week's episode fall flat on its expectations. It introduced the storyline but in a lackluster way. I thought that this show was going to go straight to the toilet. After seeing this episode, I may have to rethink that idea. This was one of the better episodes since the 1st season began. It picks up where the crash ended. This episode keeps up the with the pace of things. It starts off with Mohinder testing Monica in New York. She is doing extremely well with the tests, so well that bob wants to inject her with a mutated strain of the virus!
