Today, I noticed Amazon has a few new listings for Ghost Hunters DVDs. Not only will the Live investigation of The Waverley Sanitorium be available soon, but the first half of season four will be shipping on DVD in October.
You can click on the big box shots to preorder the DVDs from Amazon. The prices are pretty good. They seem to go up after the DVDs are released, so I'd recommend pre-ordering them.
Being a fan of the series, I ... Read More

Fort Delaware was an investigation that, in the end, yielded some extremely compelling paranormal evidence. In fact, this entire episode was dedicated to this one single, albeit extensive, investigation, which, at the reveal, had the guys using the infamous H-word (haunted).
Jason and Grant, along with the rest of the TAPS team, seemed very enthusiastic about the fort. And what Ghost Hunter worth their merit wouldn't be? Built in the mid-1800s, where 30,000-something confederate prisoners of war were held during the Civil War, ... Read More

The TAPS team was a little closer to home this week. In New Jersey, they had two rather historic locations to investigate. And since they were a little short-staffed, Jason and Grant decided to bring in a new team member, one that some of us long time Ghost Hunters viewers may recognize from a previous episode.
Investigator Dave Tango's father was brought in to help out. Being a retired cop, he was a welcomed addition to the TAPS team. And he's more than ... Read More

An eighteenth century Cape Cod mansion turned bed-and-breakfast awaited the TAPS team this week. It was the sort of place that, at first glance, could reside comfortably in any horror movie or novel. Complete with "widow's walk" (where a seaman's wife could watch the coastline in anticipation of the return of her husband's ship), the mansion seemed a promising investigation.
Unfortunately for us, the audience, Jason and Grant and company were unable to come up with any proof that the place is haunted. ... Read More

I don't talk about Ghost Hunters very often, but last night's investigation of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base was pretty damn good in my opinion. The guys seemed to find activity nearly everywhere they went. The old house was my favorite, mostly because of the flashlight. Jason occasionally tries this in supposedly haunted locations, but this time, it seemed to work.
Watching that simple-to-use flashlight turn on and off was one of the most exciting moments in a couple of seasons. Read More

The impressive ratings for the international spin-off of Ghost Hunters has made Sci-Fi Channel take notice. The network has ordered an additional seven episodes which will be aired this summer. I'm pretty pleased with that news. I enjoyed the first few episodes, but not as much as the original Ghost Hunters, admittedly.

While doing some work for IGN today, I learned Sci-Fi Channel had authorized a spin-off of one of my favorite series, Ghost Hunters. Many of the investigators seem to be members of TAPS, so it'll be the same group of people - but more like the B team. ;)
New York, NY October 8, 2007 Building on the tremendous success of the hit reality series Ghost Hunters, SCI FI Channel has greenlit Ghost Hunters International, following the adventures of a new ... Read More

A while back, I saw that the studio who did the second season DVDs for Ghost Hunters offered to replace the DVDs due to quality problems. It seems they used an analog mastering process of some kind, which resulted in poor sound and video. I've put off replacing mine since I haven't watched each DVD, but I figured I may as well do it now before they discontinue the offer. I just hope it doesn't take too long to ... Read More
