Once again Chris finds himself getting the shaft at school. He initially likes being treated well after agreeing to do the homework of the school's star running back, but becomes overwhelmed with homework help requests. It's frustrating watching Chris sometimes; he rarely stands up for himself.

Julius Rock hasn't been featured very much this season with much of the attention going to the kids. This changed this week when the family's financial problems came to light. Julius just can't balance the checkbook right now with the way things are going.

After a slightly disappointing season premiere, Everybody Hates Chris returned with a much funnier episode in "Everybody Hates Cake." The pacing of the episode was good, but Chris Rock's voiceovers were what I like the most about the show.
