It was inevitable that a super-soldier episode come up. Governments for ages have wanted to produce a better killing machine, but as in many science fiction films and shows, things rarely work out so well. Episodes like this one serve as a reminder to not stray too far from ones morals. I really liked the casting of Judd Nelson as the evil scientist. Cryonics has been a very controversial procedure since it was proposed. The idea of preserving one's body until a cure for the person's death as been found, only to bring that body back to life is an odd one. It seems as though there are reports of food safety concerns once a week during the summer in the U.S., so it's easy to see how an episode like "Agro" could be inspired somewhat by seemingly everyday events. Eleventh Hour is promising to be an interesting new science drama. What I am liking about it is that it isn't all science fiction. The science which was in "Cardiac" wasn't taken from a science fiction book; it was very real-world. Dr. Hood and Rachel Young are called in to check out a town in the south when normal, healthy eleven year-old boys begin dying of heart attacks. I admit to being highly skeptical about CBS's new drama, Eleventh Hour. It sounded a lot like Fringe, as they both deal with science which is more science fiction than typical, every day science. In "Resurrection," we're introduced to Dr. Jacob Hood and Rachel Young. Thankfully, Dr. Hood wasn't the egghead I suspected he would be.
