“Lost Boys” was a good episode that revealed more about the Trinity Killer than I thought there was possible. When Dexter showed his murderous side last week, I wasn’t sure where they would take the relationship between the two. I was also wondering if Dexter would try to keep his distance. Everything came together nicely and there’s an interesting race to see who’s going to get Trinity first and it looks like the police might be the first to do it.

Wow! This was definitely an interesting Thanksgiving for any episode I’ve ever seen which saw Dexter really get to know Trinity and his family. Let’s just say that there are definite cracks in Arthur Miller’s family.
I still find it hard to believe that Arthur hasn’t found out that Dexter is following him. Dexter has sat outside a several times this season with Arthur unaware, but that’s besides the point. This week Dexter infiltrates the family and realizes that Trinity’s family ... Read More

It seems like things are good now in Debra and Dexter relationship, but Dexter is finding it hard to get time to himself, because of the needs from the kids and Dexter. Dexter looks for a way to solve this problem and seeks out Trinity for the answers. Harry used to be the guy that Dexter relied on to help him survive, but it’s starting to seem like Trinity has taken over that role.

In “If I Had a Hammer,” Dexter gets closer to the Trinity Killer by talking to him and finding out how he manages to hide his secrets from his family. This episode was as much about Trinity as it was about Dexter and it was interesting to see the parallels between the two lifestyles and it was interesting to see that Dexter actually has a lot to learn from Trinity.
Last week we learned that the Trinity Killer has a family and Dexter ... Read More

After last week’s interesting cliffhanger with Debra and Lundy’s lives hanging in the balance, it was good to pick up just about from where we left off with the cops already at the scene of the crime and unfortunately, Lundy didn’t survive. Dexter’s reaction to his sister getting shot was a great moment. I remember in the first season we were supposed to believe that all of his emotions were created just so he could be passed off as a normal person, ... Read More

Well with the way this episode went, I think we wouldn’t mind seeing Dexter get more time away from the family. “Dex Takes a Holiday” was a great episode and it looks like this is the episode that’s going to start kicking things into full gear.
After Dexter got caught taking out the neighbor’s light, Rita chalks it up to just him being a bit stressed out and decides to give Dexter a two day vacation while she takes the kids to a ... Read More

“Blinded by the Light” was a much better installment than the episode that came for it, but it wasn’t good in the usual style that Dexter usually is. It shed more light on Dexter’s inner psyche and his adjustment to being part of the social world.
Rita found that Dexter’s accident was much worse then he initially led on, which lead up to Dexter being driven around all episode. We never saw Dexter drive himself around again for the whole episode; something ... Read More

In "Remains to Be Seen" Dexter finds himself waking up with a concussion and the whereabouts of Benito Gomez’s body unknown. This seemed like it would be another episode of Dexter leaving a body somewhere and trying to get to it before anyone else and it was one of those. What made this type of episode different from the last time that Dexter had to get to a body was the fact that he had no idea where he left it this ... Read More

In just six months things have changed for Dexter. With a baby, a new wife, and two kids in one household it’s leaving him very little time to satisfy his dark passenger. The warped reenactment of the opening video was pretty hilarious which had something going wrong with every scene. Watching Dexter put on his shirt only to find a stain on it was pretty hilarious. The writers have always been really good at putting comedy in to a show that ... Read More

If you're anything like me, Dexter is must-watch viewing at some point in time. I haven't been a subscriber to Showtime in years, which is why I look forward to the opportunity to snag the new Blu-rays each year. The quality is impeccable. It's almost like you're right there in the police station sometimes.
Showtime is in an interesting position this year. Head to head against HBO, Showtime seems to be losing some ground. It has held a ... Read More
