The writers had me hooked right from the beginning of "The Deep." Two divers were found in the East River, dead from cyanide poisoning. When they were found both divers were devoid of much of their skin, exposing their skeletons. Just how did these two die?

With last week's revelation that Horatio Caine had a son, it only made sense the writers would lay off of that story this week. Instead, we were introduced to Candace, a teenager who has become famous on the Internet for a photograph which was taken. While she was competing at a swim-meet, her boyfriend was shot by an arrow.

Tonight's season finale opens with several Mal Noche men getting gunned down at one of their homes. The killer isn't shown, but the gun he uses is an automatic weapon.
