This episode was one of the better one’s for this season. It begins with Buffy telling Giles that she wants to try out for the cheerleading squad. Giles, who isn’t anywhere near her age, doesn’t understand why she would even think about cheerleading. She tells him it’s something that she loves to do and that it keeps her focus. This episode picks up right where we left off. It looks like Buffy is about to get bitten but her lucky cross happened to save her. It burns Luke and he runs away. She is able to reach her friends in time and fights off the remaining vampire. Jesse, however, wasn’t so lucky. He gets kidnapped by Darla and taken to the lair. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or BTVS for short, was one of the best television series on television. It’s just too bad it never showed its worth in the ratings. Their loyal fans were their bread and butter and their writing staff was able to come up with some witty dialogue and interesting plot points and twists that kept it on the air for 7 seasons.
