Following the Scylla holder, Lincoln Burrows finds himself working alongside with Gretchen, Don Self, T-Bag, and eventually Alexander Mahone. There was plenty of tension amongst this little group. No one really trusts one another and there's quite a bit of pressure on each of them to get Scylla back. They get very close at one point, only to get set up. Lincoln almost gets shot within the first few minutes of the episode, making for an exciting setup ... Read More

TAPS had their hands full, it seemed, with the Clovis Sanitarium, a place where many people had had the unfortunate fate of losing their battle with Tuberculosis--meaning that a lot of deaths had occurred on the property. In a way it's easy enough to compare (history to history) what happened here to what happened at the Waverly Sanitarium back east--remember that place? Yeah, I do. Though, that place was much larger, still, the Clovis had numerous rooms, and activity all over the place, so ... Read More

It seems all too convenient sometimes when Nate and his team end up helping someone from their past. This week, Nate gets a call from his ex-wife who tells him that one of Nate's best friends from his youth was attacked. It turns out that Nate's old friend (Father Paul) is a priest for St. Nicholas church. The church has been bought and is about to be closed because the new owner is just looking to tear it down ... The gang was really off to the races this week as they helped a horse trainer acquire a horse who barely escaped a fire. This episode looked to be wrapped up in the first ten minutes but thanks to some clever writing, Leverage proved to be an excellent new drama.
We're now getting into some of the backstories of some of our characters and it stars with Eliot Spencer. He runs into a girl he almost married some time back, but ... Read More

After watching the series premiere, I couldn't wait to see how Leverage would do in their followup. In "The Homecoming Job," the crew bands together to help a soldier who is home from Iraq after a shooting. He's been left with disabilities and the shooting he was in was rather suspect. It looked like insurgents shot at them, but it was clear that the private contractors were the ones who were responsible.
I liked how everyone was brought together. ... Read More

Before I had a chance to watch the series premiere, I already liked the premise promised to viewers: a team of group of would-be Robin Hoods apply leverage to the wealthy to get help for the disadvantaged... more or less.
The first episode had a great beginning with Timothy Hutton getting drunk only to be chatted up by a man claiming to have had his airplane designs stolen by a rival company. I honestly fell for the guy's claims. I would ... Read More

I almost forgot to review this episode somehow. I guess with Christmas nearing, I've got a lot of things on my mind and The Simpsons isn't a priority. On with the review!
If I had to choose any single word to sum up the last Simpsons episode of 2008, it would have to be predictable. I should first note that I really like the idea of bringing the attention of bee collapse to the national audience, but I knew not ... Read More

This episode begins with Hiro and Ando looking over the comic book that future Hiro gave him. He realizes that the comic isn’t finished. He goes to Issac's loft hoping that he is still alive but instead sees him dead on the floor. They realize that Sylar got to him and that he is still there. They hide behind a painting when Sylar emerges from the bathroom. He can hear their heartbeat through the painting while they are standing on opposite sides. ... Read More

I had a difficult time enjoying "Till the Blood Runs Clear" as the story wasn't particularly gripping. For being away from his home, John Crichton hasn't looked to be in any sort of hurry to get back, but that seemed to change here. He and Aeryn Sun were out in space doing tests when John seemed to create a worm hole similar to the one which brought him away from Earth.
Getting close to the worm hole created damage on the ... Read More

"Going Under" continues in a string of episodes which hasn't really pleased me. It's bizarre to watch the show with Michael Scofield not in charge. He was surprisingly present in this episode even though he didn't do a whole heck of a lot. He was subdued for the most part due to the things he had to take because of the operation, but he had an interesting dream.
I didn't think I would ever see Charles Westmoreland again. I ... Read More
