I can’t believe it. Dollhouse made it through the ropes of being not cancelled! It’s awesome news for a show that was on the bubble. Now that they have a second season, they can finally prove that it wasn’t a mistake that Fox gave them another chance or will they prove the critics. Right? Based on the first episode it doesn’t look too bright.

The show opened up with the regulars getting on with their lives. Echo is still being used for people’s pleasures and crimes. Paul is being used as her new handler while Boyd is enjoying his new work environment. Topher is still playing the innocent geek behind the mayhem. Except something strange happened. His greatest creation Dr. Saunders has a weird obsession with him. She hates his guts but that’s the way he made her!

When he put in her new personality, he made sure that she had zero attraction to him whatsoever. She even can’t stand the smell of him. During a scene she tried to sleep with him put he informed her that it wasn’t possible. Her body would never let her. She has become a confused and venerable character. I’m glad that she has a more intense storyline and I’m curious to see where this will lead. It looks like we will see more of this character on a daily basis.

Jamie Barber and Eliza Dushku

Echo was assigned to watch over some millionaire. He isn’t a great person and Echo was in danger from the start. His people had her followed and her cover was blown through the roof. They continued with Echo’s glitches and every time she remembered something, she either got smacked or looked dumb. I really couldn’t get into her storyline at all. I was thinking to myself haven’t I seen this before. She and Paul got into a fight sequence once her new husband realized he was being had. This lead to the team to do the job and give the husband what he deserved.

This episode left me with a dull sense of entertainment. I lost interest in the first 10 mins. They didn’t have enough of Sierra. She was dressed up like a retarded housewife but still showed how talented she was. In her five minutes of airtime she showed more talent than half of the crew. The only people that made this episode watchable were Claire and Boyd’s situations.

It seems like Boyd and Odelle have a new enemy. A politician being played by the former Wesley of Angel, Alexis Denisof, is warning people about them. He even referred to them as terrorists. I’m anxious to see what the outcome of his character and the situation will be. This storyline can lead to some interesting results.

Overall, I wasn’t pleased with this opening. I’m hoping that next week my interests will be kept and that Joss Whedon could get his ball rolling in the right basket. With the talent that he has I’m sure that he can rebound. If not, then at least his show lasted longer than Firefly.

Heroes! When you hear that name lots of people around the world jump for joy. From the very beginning Heroes was a true winner. It didn’t stay that way for long though. After the second season everything went downhill and has yet to reach the peak this show once held. Many viewers are hoping that season 4 can bring back the glory days. This season just might do that.

H.R.G. and Claire are going on with their lives. Claire is enrolled in college and is having a good time. Her new roommate is a freak of intelligence and has her whole life mapped out. Claire quickly finds a potential friend in Gretchen, played by Madeline Zima. These two seem to have some things in common and look like they will be tight friends. A little murder will always bring people together. Claire’s roommate suffered an early dismissal when Claire found her body a few stories below her room. She tells the police that a suicide was out of the question but someone else put hard work into fooling the cops. Claire decides to do a test to prove that she was right but it allowed Gretchen to find the truth about her. Next week we will know if Gretchen can be truly trusted.

Her father H.R.G. had his share of close calls. Tracy paid him a visit as Aqua woman and almost kills him. Danco saves his life and warns him about his new threat. H.R.G. got on up on him and made a deal with Tracy. He had The Haitian erase his memory and Tracy was now free. She paid Danco a visit but encountered a very unique hero. They had a nice cool battle which left Ray Park running away. I swear I saw more action in this scene than I have in Heroes‘ entire run. He kills Danco in the process and leads H.R.G to investigate. He calls Peter who has been saving many people’s lives as of late to help him out. He encounters the man and we are treated with another fight sequence! We learn that the man is after a broken compass. It seems that only those with powers can make it work. The man regains the compass and almost kills H.R.G. The only people at his hospital bed were Tracy and Peter. He still talks to Claire but his wife is with another man. I hate to say that H.R.G. is going to have a rough season.

Madeline Zima as Gretchen

Speaking of a rough season, Matt Parkman is feeling it. It seems that Sylar has infected his mind and is turning Parkman evil. I kinds like evil Parkman and I’m glad they are going this route. He has used his power to get rid of the competition and his anger surfaced multiple times. With Sylar in his head does that mean that he is going to trick him into giving him his body back? From what I’m seeing it just might happen.

Nathan is starting to realize that there is more to him that meets the eye. He tells his mother about it and she gets freaked out. She wants Matt to redo his job on Sylar but Matt tells her that’s her problem she needs to deal with. He is starting to use Sylar’s powers and it seems that soon the truth will come out. I can’t wait for this moment to occur.

Hiro and Andy are in Japan running their own business. They are saving peoples’ lives one by one. Well at least that’s their plan. The only thing that they are doing is saving cats. Hiro does have some bad news for Andy though. He tells him that he is dying and that he doesn’t know how long he has.

Dawn Olivieri as Lydia, Robert Knepper as Samuel

With everything that has gone down in the past and his in ability to control time, I can understand why. He sends himself back in time and that’s where he meets up with this season’s villain, Samuel, played by Robert Knepper. He convinces Hiro to change the past to help out Andy’s love life. He does so with a little push and is pleased with the results. Samuel is trying to change the past for some reason and has a legion of followers that will help him rather they like it or not. Will Samuel get what he wants or will the Heroes come together again and foil his plans.

These two episodes was surprisingly good. We were introduced to fresh characters that are pretty and dirty. Peter was entertaining for once and Claire still has no purpose. Matt is getting better story lines and they found a way to get Sylar and Nathan to share a screen. Tracy won’t be useless this season and we finally get to see some fight scenes. If they keep this up maybe Heroes will finally be back on track.

This season was one of the best things on television. Season 2 had many surprises and brought in new characters. We got to learn that Sam wasn’t alone in the world. Sookie and Bill’s love for one another wasn’t just a fling. There are such things as gods, evil churches, and virgin vampires. This show was over the top but the finale wasn’t so.

We pick up with Lafayette telling Sookie to take off her clothes. I thought that Lafayette was going to rape her. All he wanted was for her to put on a dress. Once she did he took her downstairs and Sookie found out the horrible news. She was destined to be a brides maid! Maryann was planning a wedding for her and her god. She told Sookie that she was more than just human. Sookie couldn’t believe it but remember her actions from her very first episode of the first season. It looks like there was more to Sookie than Adam Ball wanted us to see.

Meanwhile, Bill was gathering up Sam for the sacrifice. Sam didn’t want to go but was persuaded by Bill anyway. Eric was chatting up The Queen we learned that She was the one running the Vampire blood to Eric. Eric promised her that Bill would be taking care of personally. Sam and Andy arrived to save the day only to turned into one of the herd. I guess Andy wasn’t a supernatural after all and all Jason needed was a good knock on the head. All was right and the time was perfect for the ritual.

Michelle Forbes, Anna Paquin

Bill brought Sam to the sight and gave him to Maryann. He told Sookie not to worry. Eggs cut up Sam and gave the bloody knife to Maryann. Before she could finish the job she read Sam’s mind and he told her to destroy everything. She does and tries to go after Sookie. She reaches her in time and sees her god coming toward her. She gives herself willingly to him and wants to die. It was all a trick because Sam was pretending to a horned goat! He stabs Maryann and rips her heart out!

All of this happened within the first half of the episode. I thought since the climax of the season was over that the rest of the show was going to involve the Queen or Eric. I was disappointed to find out that the last half was quite boring. The people of the town just dealt with what happened. Most of them don’t even remember what they did. Andy and Jason seemed to have became bodies now, Eggs is extremely bothered by his blackouts and everyone else is just dealing with the events.

Eggs becomes so distraught over his memories he asks Sookie to help him remember. Like a fool she does and turns him into a guilty villain. He tries to turn himself in to Andy but gets shot in the back of the head by an anxious Jason! Andy covered it up but you can tell his story is mighty weak. The truth will be found out and I can only wonder how Tara will feel about the truth. Jessica and Hoyt are both sorry about what happened and Hoyt was willing to give it one more chance. Jessica however ended up finding a lonely trucker and using him as food. Once Jessica learns about Hoyt wanting another go I’m compelled to see how she will react. I hope she doesn’t turn him.

Deborah Ann Woll

Bill and Sookie went out on a dinner and Bill asked her to marry him. She was so shocked that she left to go to the bathroom and get herself together. She is worried about the truth that she has learned and wants to know what she is. When she returned she found Bill gone and the table a mess. Who took Bill and why? Next season looks promising with the audition of Evan Rachel Wood and the where is Bill storyline. I just hope it is better than the season finale!

This episode of True Blood was…OK! It could have been better with more action and less talk. I think Bill spent too much time with a lonely queen. Jessica didn’t get near enough airtime. Tara is still crazy in love with Eggs. Sookie and Lafayette have a lot in common. Jason and Andy become closer than we ever thought and Sam does some babysitting.

Evan Rachel Wood

It begins with the queen, played by Evan Rachel Wood, getting her fun on with a filled blond. Bill asks her how to defeat Maryann but she seems more interested in Bill’s company. She tells him that Maryann can’t be killed or even harmed. It turns out that Maryann’s belief was so strong that it made her immortal. She has Bill stay longer drinking people’s blood and playing board games before she gives him any more news. Before he goes she gives him some information regarding killing Maryann. She is vulnerable when she believes that her god is coming. This would allow her to be eaten by her master. Bill thinks up a plan quickly in his head and leaves. The queen wishes to see Sookie but Bill was hesitant to say anything. Eric also pays her a visit at the end of the episode and it looks like her and Eric are going to get along fine.

Sookie and Lafayette had a hard time with Tara. Tara was cursing them to the high hell because they wouldn’t let her get to Eggs. It got so overbearing that Sookie and Lafayette returned outside to watch over the house. It was there that they got to know one another better. They both are having sexual dreams about Eric and they now know that they are under his employment. They were also a victim of Tara’s momma! Tara’s mom couldn’t take her daughter’s words and decided to earn her love and trust back by helping her escape. This turned out to be a bad Idea because Tara once again finds her way back in Maryann’s gasp.

LaFayette is still traumatized by the events that Eric put him through. Sookie and him both find their way back to her grandma’s house. There we learned that drugs is a great way to learn their friends away from the house. Sookie gets too close to the wrong person and has to knock them out before he knocks her up. Lafayette didn’t fear the same with Maryann and has become one of her victims. He does manage to kill her right hand man, Karl. Sookie finds her way to Grand’s room where she sees Tara and Eggs tearing it up. She also finds herself surrounded by her two best friends under the Maryann spell. She also sees an egg in her Grand’s bed. What does the egg mean? And what will happen to Sookie?

Adina Porter, Rutina Wesley

Sam cut his ties with Jason and Andy when they were talking about killing everyone. Once they left Sam found Arlene’s children. They were hungry and dirty. He took them to Eric in hopes of finding an ally. He did intrigue Eric enough to go see the Queen. It looks like Sam is resting on borrowed time and his fate will be ended soon. It’s like Sam is about to give up. Jason and Andy aren’t though. They wrapped themselves up with guns and ammo. They are ready to do what needs to be done to take care of Maryann.

This episode was decent at best. I felt like something was missing. I thought that this episode could have been better than what was shown. People did their parts well it just the show felt empty this time around. I can’t wait till the season finale. I hear that a regular is going to meet his end. The way Sam was acting in this episode and looks like that will happen or maybe Jessica kills Hoyt for leaving her when she bit his mom. Whoever it is I’m sure it will be a shock!

This episode was one of the best this season. Finally Sookie and Jason gets to confront Maryann. Bill finds out that he is all and mighty. Sam gets more screen time that he has all season. Tara gets to show her acting talents and Andy shows that he isn’t some lazy drunk. True Blood has delivered some good stuff.

This episode begins with Sookie and Jason returning to their beloved town. The town is torn apart with the people acting like horny animals. Sookie gets home only to find that Maryann has moved in. She and Bill try to overcome this thing but Bill finds out that she is no mere mortal. He bites her and gets really sick. They drive to Lafayette’s house only to learn that Tara is under some sort of spell.

Sam Trammell as Sam Merlotte, Chris Bauer as Detective Andy Bellefleur

Lafayette had a hard time trying to get Tara back to normal. Her mother had little to no effect on her. Lafayette even tried to result to smacking her around some. Tara was saying all kinds of bad things to them. She even started to chant. Sookie showed up and worked her mojo. With the help of Bill, they finally were able to get Tara back. Sookie used her mind tricks to bring her friend back. Tara freaked out like any person would but wanted to get Eggs. Her friends told her that that mission is for a later date. Bill went to the queen to find a way to stop Maryann. From the look on his face Bill visited at the wrong time.

Sam had a good amount of air time this episode. Everyone in town wanted to get Sam. He and Andy were tricked to come back to his bar. What waited for him was a trap. The town jumped him and forced them both into the freezer. It was there where he and Andy started to bond. Jason appeared and was able to set them free. It was only for a moment before the town folks returned. Sam had no choose but to give himself up. Sam’s friends choose not to stand aside and allow their friend to be killed. They made up a funny and understandable plan to set him free. Sam’s secret was shown to them but he was able to live. That is what counts the most!

Jessica and Hoyt has their fair share of time. Hoyt’s mother is under the influence of Maryann. She begins to insult Jessica which gets her very upset. She is unable to control her emotions and before you know it she is biting down on mother dearest. This puts Hoyt to the ultimate test. Will he finally realize what Jessica is and side with his mom or will he forgive her for what she did. Either way Hoyt is in a bad situation.

This episode delivered at they promised. It left us with cliffhangers and a reason to tune in next week. I’m glad that we will finally see the queen and from what I hear she has been across the universe and in the valley of Eli. I’m sure die hard fans will be happy with their choice to play her. What will happen to Eggs and I wonder how Maryann will react to Sam’s escape this time around? Next week should be a very good episode.

This episode was much better than I thought. It was a big pick up from last week. Some people got what they deserved and others just got punked. Sam was able to find a common ally. Maryann has finally sucked her teeth in Tara. Jessica and Hoyt gets more than five minutes of screen time. Lafayette finally gets a mission and Dallas concludes. Why couldn’t last week’s episode be this thrilling?!

It begins with the aftermath of the in house explosions. There is blood and guts everywhere. More importantly, Sookie is lying underneath Eric. Eric claims he did this to protect Sookie for Bill. Bill rushes out of the house and starts attacking the remaining humans. Meanwhile, Eric tricks Sookie into sucking his blood. Like a true blond, she falls for it and is now linked to Eric. She is having sexually dreams about him and it looks like she can’t control her new emotions. Bill is very displeased and takes his anger out on the right person. He punches Eric in the mouth but it seems that Eric does not care for it. Eric has other things on his mind.

Allan Hyde as Godric, Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse

Godric is being blamed for everything that went down during his time away in Dallas. He gave himself away willing to show an example of what vampires can actually do and not do. He didn’t count on the fellowship to be so misunderstanding and full of hate. The spokeswoman for vampires, Nan Flanagan played by Jessica Turk, fired Godric from his position as sheriff of Dallas. This leads to Eric wanting to rip her head off. Godric demands Eric to stand down and allow him to handle it. He does by giving in and accepting his consequence. This wasn’t the worst thing because Godric wanted to kill himself! Eric pleaded for Godric not to let the sun take him and even cried. Eric showed a different side to him and Sookie was there to see. She seems to always sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong and this scene was no exception. As Eric left, she stayed behind to watch the show as Godric went up in blue smoke. He asked her to look after him and she said that she wasn’t sure. Giving her gullible I’m sure she will find a way.

Jessica and Hoyt spend much of their time gazing at each other. They are looking for a way to get past their predicament. Hoyt wants to introduce Jessica to his mother. We find out that his mom is full of hate. She doesn’t like a lot of people for many different reasons. When she meets Jessica, they get into an argument over Hoyt. She reminds Jessica that she can not bear children which put a stake in her heart, This leads to Hoyt picking Jessica and no longer being a mommies boy. I’m proud of Hoyt for doing this and I hope Bill doesn’t get raw with Hoyt. The character doesn’t deserve bad treatment.

Jim Parrack as Hoyt, Deborah Ann Woll as Jessica

Tara and Eggs come to realize what happened the night prior. Neither of them like blacking out but Maryann tells them that it’s part of the game. To truly be free is to not know what your doing. Bliss comes with a price or to at least Maryann, pleasure. Lafayette sees the damage on Tara and quickly blames Eggs for it. Despite both of them trying to explain themselves, Lafayette becomes enraged and tries to pick a fight with Eggs. Tara gets in between and gets slapped by Eggs mistakenly. Back at the house, they are with Maryann drinking and talking. Lafayette comes with Tara’s mother and tries to persuade Tara to come home. Tara is not acting like herself and attacks the mother. Eggs gets a beat down from Lafayette. He manages to grab Tara and runs away with her. Tara lets out a horrifying scream like she was being kidnapped by a rapist. Maryann reminds Eggs that she will be back in time.

Meanwhile, Maryann still wants Sam for some reason. She goes to free him from his cell but he is already gone. He turned himself into a fly and flew away. Maryann spent some of her time trying to track him down. She tells her follows to bring Sam to her ASAP. Sam turns to the one friend who he can trust and not fall under her spell. That friend is a drunk named Officer Andy. I wonder what kind of pairing these two will make.

This episode I thought was better than last week. Eric finally gets what he wants and then what he deserves. Godric dies making a change in vampires rather he thinks so or not. With Jason, Bill, Eric, and Sookie all returning home, one has to wonder what they all will think about Maryann. It looks like Jason will finally get his war time after all!

This episode was highly anticipated. It was going to be the episode where things hit the fan. The great battle between the Fellowship of the Sun and the Vampire League of Dallas was finally showcased… sort of. Maryann put a pretty nasty spell on Tara and Eggs. Sam got a huge wake up call and Jason got to play the role of hero. True Blood had a lot to show tonight.

As we saw from last week, Godric made his presence known, saving Sookie from being a raped victim. He carelessly snapped the would-be repist’s neck and dropped the body to the floor. Eric showed up only to be wowed by Godric’s presence. He tells Eric not to harm any humans on his way out the door with Sookie. The Fellowship is able to lock the doors before they can escape. Eric tries to pretend to be one of them but is found out very quickly. He tries to escape another way and gets busted. He cons the Fellowship to take him instead of Godric. The Fellowship agrees to take him but refuses to let the girl go.

Ryan Kwanten as Jason, Alexander Skarsgard as Eric

Meanwhile, Jason is on his way to save his sister. Sarah shot him with a paintball gun and was highly emotional. She believes that Jason was working for the enemy and played her. Jason was able to take the gun away from her and stole her car. By the time he got there, Eric was all chained up and burning for his sins. Jason was able to get a couple of shots in on Steve before being taken down. The vampires arrived and were about to wrack havoc on the fellowship. Godric intervened and told them to stand down. Godric convinced everyone to agree to stop the blood shed before it begins. Steve vowed for revenge and by episode’s end, I believe he did.

Bill was all tied up with Lorena. Barry got in on the action and was tasted by Lorena. She made mention by how unique his blood was but couldn’t go into detail. Bill hit her in the head with a flat screen TV. He was able to get Barry to safety and told Jessica and Hoyt to skip town.

He did make it to the church but was told like the others to stand down. Once at Godric’s house, Bill told Sookie that his maker is in town and was the reason he was so late. Lorena shows up and she and Sookie get into a cat fight. They exchange some catty words and almost comes to blows. Godric stops the melee and sends Lorena packing. Lorena and Bill share a tear dropping goodbye and looks like the last time we will she Lorena or is it?

Tara and Eggs were treated to some fine cuisine by Maryann. She added a special ingredient, Daphne’s heart! After unknowingly consuming the heart, Tara and Eggs got really physical. They didn’t just have sex – they beat the crap out of each other. Maryann seemed to enjoy what was going on.

Sam was framed for Daphne’s murder. The cops brought him in and locked him up. Sam realized he wasn’t alone and that the towns people has all gone nuts. The only other person that knows the truth is Andy and no one believes him. I have to wonder why Andy is the only other person in town who doesn’t go under her spell when Maryann is doing her rituals? Could this mean that True Blood has made a boo boo or is Andy a supernatural? Wouldn’t that be a surprise?

This episode gave us what we needed but not want we wanted. I wanted to see a bloodbath at the church but it didn’t happen. Instead we got closure with Jason and the church. All seems to be going back to normal in Dallas. The Lorena adventure could be over. The Dallas vampires may go up in smoke due instead of a shoot out and Jessica finally lost her virginity and got it back. Everything heals as a vampire, remember! The episode was good but I expected a better action sequence involving the vamps and humans.

This episode was by far better than last week. It kept me interested the whole 54 minutes. I was surprised at the events. It is a good thing that True Blood is now following the books closely. It would make for a boring season. There would be no Daphne and Jessica, Maryann would be poor and dull, and Lafayette would be six feet under. With half the season done, True Blood has made some good television and its only going to get better.

The episode opened up with Sam escaping the power of Maryann. Andy helped him escape mistakenly but caused him to break an arm! While Sam was running, Maryann was chasing him with a horned mask and some nasty looking arms. Sam was able to escape via shape shifting into an owl. He ends up finding Daphne skinny dipping again which I found to be tacky. How many times will we see this girl in her underwear? She explains that Maryann is a follower of a Greek God. I’ll let you guess which one but it is related to Satan! Sam can’t believe what he hears and warns Daphne to stay away. He doesn’t have to worry about her anymore because Maryann had her killed by Eggs!

Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse

Sookie and Hugo remained locked up in the basement. Hugo is freaking out because he is claustrophobic. Sookie learns that Hugo is the trader among his people. He was the one that warned the fellowship. She tells him that his betrayal was in vain because the fellowship doesn’t care about him. He pleads to let him out and no one is there to hear him. Sookie informs Barry about her situation in hopes that he will tell Bill. By episode end, she will hope that Bill gets the message before she gets an unwanted sexual encounter!

Jason and Sarah decides to tell the head priest the truth but will wait until after the lock down. The head priest knows that Sookie is the sister of Jason and thinks that Jason is in on the whole thing. He sends Gabe to take care of him but Jason gets the better of him. Jason is on his way to save his sister when Sarah arrives and Shoots him in the chest! It looks like the head priest told his wife what he thinks and Jason is stick in a hard place and a rock or a vengeful woman and a broken-hearted wife.

Bill is still locked up with Lorena going to memory lane. We learn that Bill never loved her and only did those deeds to satisfy her cravings. It was a relief to see Bill as the sour puss again. Barry arrives and tells Bill about Sookie but Eric overhears. He flings to the fellowship to save Sookie or Godric when Barry gets pulled inside by Lorena.

Jessica and Hoyt reveal more about themselves. Hoyt is the 28 year old virgin and Jessica is the virgin vampire. It looks like they both will get it on by next week but I have a funny feeling it may be their last. Two virgins doing the deed never lasts long. Someone will get addicted while the other can’t keep up.

This whole episode was very well done. The pace was on point and everyone got the screen time that they deserved. I do feel that Tara and her boyfriend’s storyline ended too soon and should have continued this episode. Next week looks like these two will get the time to shine. Godric will finally appear after freeing Sookie from her rapist. Next week the vamp we heard so much about gets to speak. If the book is followed with his storyline it should be worth the watch.

This episode was good to watch. I think the other episodes were better paced but I can see why. The beginning started off slow but it picked up the pace in the last 10 mins or so. We got to learn a lot about Maryann’s orgy parties, Sookie learns a hard lesson about minding her business, Jason finally does the deed, and Sam gets pulled back into Maryann’s world, forcefully.

It begins with Eric speaking with an old friend of Bill’s, his maker, Lorena, played by Mariana Klaveno, from the first season. He wants her to get Bill out of the picture so that he can get his teeth into Sookie. He finds her curious and wants to learn why Bill loves her so much. We are treated to flashbacks of Bill’s darker side. I have to admit it was a shock to see him so evil. He looked like he was having a good time killing and making others suffer. Once Sookie went on her mission, Bill’s maker was able to make her move. Can Bill overcome his maker’s power or will he submit to her like Eric does to Godric?

Ashley Jones as Daphne

Meanwhile, Sookie was on her mission to find out if the mission of the sun has Godric captive. She took Hugo, played by Christopher Gartin, as her fake husband. Hugo is the human lover of one of the sheriff’s lieutenants. He informed Sookie that even though he loves the lieutenant, he knows that one day she will fall out of love with him. He wants her to turn him into a vampire. Sookie was surprised to learn this information and was even more surprised to learn that he was right. When they get old they will fall out of love with them. This makes Sookie want to change the subject.

They head over to the Mission of the Sun only to find out that someone betrayed them. She was able to read the head priest’s mind and tried to get out of there before they were captured. It was too late and she and Hugo are now trapped in the basement. With Lorena around, it looks like Bill has no time for Sookie.

Jason was having a meaningless day while everything was unfolding. He was sent to build a platform with his new-found buddy Luke. The purpose of the platform is to watch a vampire die while the sun rises. It’s a cruel thing to do to anyone but to them, this is what God wants. Too bad the head priest doesn’t know that God wanted his wife Sarah to sleep with Jason.

Sarah, for the last couple of episodes, feels out of place with her husband and has finally got Jason to see things her way. They end up having sex in a church and you can tell Jason was seeing God in her eyes. Jason wasn’t the only one that got a rude awaking. Tara and her boyfriend found out something very interesting. On the way to find a missing part for the heater her boyfriend had an epiphany. He lead Tara to a place in the woods where something evil happened. This freaked him and her out greatly. Once they returned, they fell prey to one of Maryann’s orgies. This time, though, it seemed to be more of a ritual than a party.

Sam and Daphne were having fun throughout this episode. They were playing jokes on people and having fun together as a couple. Too bad all the fun ended when Sam realized the truth. Daphne was working for Maryann and delivered him for what seemed to be a sacrifice. It looks to be that Maryann was the creature that attacked Sookie in the woods. It ends with us not knowing the fate of Sam. One thing for sure though – Sam wishes he would have left when he had the chance.

This episode was good overall. We didn’t get to see enough of Jessica and Lafayette. Jessica did sport a nice bra and panties and look quite attractive for Hoyt when he arrived at the vampire hotel. Lafayette is being forced to sell V again at Eric’s demand. I am curious to find out why. The second and third act makes up for the slow start in this episode. With all the cliffhangers it makes next week show worth the watch.

This episode, like all the others, was very enjoyable. It had all of our favorite characters involved. It had all the elements of a successful episode. The Bill and Sookie didn’t drag this time around. Tara got to realize what family really is. Sam gets a reason to stay and we get to learn a lot about Eric. I believe this was the best episode the whole season thus far and that says a lot.

It begins where the last episode finished. Sookie found out that there was another mind reader in Dallas. It was interesting to learn that there are more of these kind of people. Barry, played by Chris Coy, didn’t want to know though. He ran like a child caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Sookie followed him and tried to persuade him into learning from her. Barry just wanted to be left alone but the hard-headed blond wouldn’t let that happen. Barry ended up quitting his job by episode’s end. I got a feeling that this won’t be the last time that we will see this character. Sookie is a nut and she probably will find him one way or another.

Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse

Sookie and Bill had a good amount of time together. I had no clue that the creators where going to make Sookie a sex addict. This is what it seemed when ever they were alone. She always wanted to jump his bones but poor Jessica couldn’t get any action. Bill acted like a father figure and prevented her from feeding. The interaction between the two is priceless, Bill is such a righteous person and Jessica is a child wanting to explore. I almost felt sorry for the vampire. At least she has Hoyt now to fall back on. These two make a very cute couple.

We finally got to see Eric and his finest. Never before have I seen this character so anxious and angry to save a fellow vampire. That has a lot to do with the fact that Godric is his maker. In a flashback we got to see how it was done. Godric killed his fellow soldiers and saved his life. Eric was dying on the battlefield and Godric gave him the choice to live or die. Eric wants to return the favor by saving him from whomever kidnapped him. The other sheriffs want war and only time will tell if they go through with their plans. Bill and Sookie has gotten themselves mixed up in some pretty heavy stuff.

Tara started to realize that Maryann and her people may not be who they say they are. They pretty much moved into Sookie’s home without permission. She compared them to nomads who wander the earth, sleeping wherever they feel like. Tara didn’t want that. Her new boyfriend accused her of not knowing what a real family is since that’s what him and Mary Anne are, a family. Maryann’s heart was broken when she realized that Tara didn’t want her there. Maryann had no choice but to show her what she would be missing if they were to leave. She made Tara’s work life hell for the night and when she returned home she was embraced with Maryann’s loving arms. It looks like her trick worked and now Tara is allowing them to stay. I can’t wait for Sookie to come home and found out who her new roommates are. That should make for some good entertainment.

Sam and Daphne shared some things this episode besides their body parts. We have learned that Daphne is like Sam, a shape shifter. This made Sam a very happy man. Happy for him to stay and find out more about Daphne. They are sex mates now and with the return of Lafayette, his work staff is going to have a unique chemistry. I don’t think all these personalities are going to get along.

Jason Stackhouse had his share of luck as well. He had to endure an intense training process that turned him into a true leader. Despite some attempts from his enemy he still managed to show him up and maybe even earn some respect from him. He already has it from the priest’s wife. She feels neglected from her husband and like all wives who feel this way, she finds another man to keep her company. Jason had no clue that she would give him her hand in the bathtub and let him release his tension upon it. This can’t be good for Jason no matter how you look at it.

This episode was well put together and everyone was enjoyable to watch. It will be interesting to see what Jason and Sookie will say when they return back to their grandma’s home and sees the new residents. Who knew that Bill’s maker would return back into the picture at the last moment. From what next week’s preview has to show Bill is going to have a tough time getting rid of her that’s if he even wants to.
