The opening for “Koi Pond” lacked a bit when it comes to some of the openings of the past. The whole Halloween concept though felt a little lost when compared to the rest of the episode. Let’s get right into it. This week we find out that Jim is still seeing Pam’s mother.  It was nice of Michael to tell Jim, and Jim's immediate reaction was to keep it from Pam. This was a much better episode of Betty than I’ve been used and it seems like the spotlight is back on Betty - as it should be.
