It seems to becoming the popular decision by stations to air the first two episodes back-to-back. As I was watching "Ernest Cobb," I began to feel like FOX had made a mistake. The bulk of this episode and the "Pilot" had nothing to do with one another. However, as things progressed and some twists were revealed, it really made sense for them to air these first two episodes back-to-back. FOX had it right after all.
I have no idea ... Read More

Another new Bad Robot series? I'm totally there. Add in the fact that Jorge Garcia is a part of it and it's got all I need to at least want to check it out. Alcatraz was a show I tried not to get too deep into before the series premiered. I wanted to learn as much as I could by just watching the series and not reading spoilers and producer interviews. I don't regret that decision one ... Read More

The setup for a lover's retreat was brilliant. I'd love to see Shawn (James Roday) and Juliet (Maggie Lawson) get away a little more. Seeing them always working a case can get a little repetitive. The change of scenery was welcomed.
Right off the bat, I feel compelled to give Jason Priestly and Jennifer Finnigan kudos for a terrific job in their respective roles of Clive and Barbie. My only issue with them was the Barbie name. It ... Read More

I've been pretty forward about my desire to see Gus (Dule Hill) find love. He only has one-episode interests anymore. I was really hoping for something to come out of tonight's new episode. Nicole (Diora Baird) seemed like another one-episode interest, but it would have been interesting to see if the writers could have stretched things out and bring her back in the near future.
Now as for the bulk of the episode, I actually enjoyed the cult scene even ... Read More

PSYCH's ability to land notable guest stars continues to impress me. They've managed to land just about everyone I can imagine. Now you can add Captain James T. Kirk... I mean William Shatner to that proud list of big-time guest stars.
Shatner didn't play just another character. He signed on to play a major character, Juliet's father. That fact does leave open the opportunity to make other appearances. I wouldn't object to Shatner returning to the role. ... Read More

It's episodes like "Running the Show" that frustrate me. They build a lot of suspense about a potentially huge move in the game only to fall flat. I hate being teased by some of the ideas presented in this episode.
For Whitney and Dawn to advance in the game, Albert, Sophie, and Cochran had to agree to bring them into their little group and turn the game on its head by voting out Edna, Coach's little robot. Albert's opinions of ... Read More

First off, let me just say the PSYCH crew did a terrific job in casting the role of the crazy billionaire in "Shawn Interrupted". Brad Dourif not only looked the part, he acted the part to perfection. I didn't have a single complaint with his performance!
As a matter of fact, "Shawn Interrupted" was one of those few episodes which didn't really garner a the typical criticism from me. Having Shawn (James Roday) and Gus (Dule Hill) go undercover to ... Read More

After the crazy turn of events that came about when Cochran turned his allegiance to Coach’s half of the new tribe, I’ve been anxiously awaiting to see what sort of impact it would have on the Survivor players. Cochran definitely had a frosty reaction from Jim, Whitney, and Ozzy. Jim and Whitney were downright cruel when they expressed their anger about Cochran’s betrayal.
Ozzy’s crew hasn’t given up all hope, but it isn’t looking good at this point. Jim’s initial ... Read More

PSYCH almost can’t go wrong when they tackle one of my favorite things, sports. The show has already been on the inside of a football locker room so baseball felt like a natural progression. The thing that makes it all the better is the obvious tie between Corbin Bernsen and the hilarious Major League film franchise.
I really liked the decision to bring Danny Glover into the show. I’ve really come to enjoy the many movies he has made over the ... Read More

This week’s Survivor recap reinforced just how crazy it was for Ozzy to sacrifice himself to help his tribe should a merge take place. The big question was whether this would prove to be a genius move or a dumb move. As it turns out, it may have been a mistake, but not for the obvious reason.
The decision to have Cochran become a double agent was a terrible one. It inadvertently gave Cochran the opportunity to reconsider the position ... Read More
