This was an interesting episode because it brought our characters into some interesting life choices that will affect them almost instantly. There could be a complaint made that this season has not had Vince involved in the storyline, but I think after last season being all about him, that it’s nice to see him take a break. I thought this was one of the better episodes of the season and it’ll be interesting to see what these decisions have in store for out characters heading into the season finale.
This was one of the funnier opening scenes of an episode of Entourage which had Drama and Vince meet Eric, only for Eric to find out that Drama had slept with her four months ago and that he thinks that she gave him a disease before. It was funny because up until now I don’t believe any of the guys have ever slept with another girl that one of the guys had slept with before. It was kind of an eye opener also when Eric talked about how he expected to come across a girl that slept with Vince, which is very possible considering that Vince has been with a different girl every episode this season.

Kevin Dillon as Johnny ‘Drama’ Chase
So we have E now stressed out that he may have a disease, but we have to give him credit for calling his doctor immediately after finding out and it’s just another example about why we like E so much. It’s because he’s the most sensible one out of the group and that’s proven at the end of the episode as well.
Drama ends up having a crisis of his own when he goes to audition for Melrose Place 2009. In one of the most cringe-worthy moments of the season, we had to watch as Drama panicked in his audition. Especially having to do it in front of the director that he yelled at and then when Dean Cain walked in, it was all downhill from there. It was quite sad especially considering all the work that had to happen to get Drama out of his other show.
After suffering a fake heart attack, it wasn’t surprising to see Drama think about retiring. Drama has been a struggling actor since the show began and it took him seasons before he even landed Five Towns. If Drama really does end up retiring, I think it would be quite an adventure to see what Drama decides to do now; maybe he can open his own restaurant. That’s something to think about, writers!
Turtle spent the episode with Jamie-Lynn who is leaving for six months to shoot her movie and I have to say that this was the first episode where I actually got attached to this relationship. Jamie-Lynn might have overreacted a bit when it came to Turtle adding the girl from UCLA to his Facebook, but it was understandable after she “breaks” it off with Turtle. It really wasn’t a break-up, but she told him he could see other people. It was a sad moment because it’s the first time where we get to see how much Turtle really loves her. I thought it was a cute moment at the end of the episode when he mentions how he doesn’t even know who he is without Jamie.
E finally deciding that he wants to be in a relationship with Sloan was a relief to hear, but we’ll have to see if it’ll be that easy to win her back. Actually everyone at the end seemed to be in a place that didn’t necessarily agree with Vince. He seemed irritated that nobody wanted to hang out with him and it was funny that he asked if anyone forgot that he’s supposed to be leaving in a week because actually I think most of us did.

Jeremy Piven as Ari Gold
Ari was kept away from the rest of the class as he was dealing with his own problems when Terrence (his former boss) offers him a chance to buy him out. I thought this was great and the character Ari really has a way of making the smallest things so exciting. It was cool watching as he sniffs around town trying to find out why Terrence wants to sell right now and, of course, Ari being Ari eventually finds out that Terrence is getting a divorce and is trying to get money out of the company before he goes to court. Ari was able to get the price lowered to what we assume is 75 million because for some reason, they never actually through a million or thousand out there – the two just kept giving numbers. What’s most interesting about this acquisition is that it brings Lloyd back under Ari’s employment and it’ll be funny to see whether Lloyd will stay on as an agent or end up back as Ari’s assistant, especially since Ari can’t keep one himself.
So we got a lot of good content in this episode with everyone besides Vince and I’m interested to see where everyone is going to end up by the season’s end.
