To start off this is probably the worst episode of Entourage this season and that’s unfortunate because there was a lot of story to follow up from the previous episode. There was one storyline in particular that took up too much time and resolved in a bad way.
I’ll start off with the bad, finally Vince’s stalker was revealed and who was it? Well it was nobody. It turns out that Vince doesn’t have a stalker and it was just a prank that got pulled on Turtle. I’m not sure why the writers felt so compelled to devote so much time to this storyline at all. It was never interesting even when I did believe that Vince had a stalker and poor Vince, what a waste of a million dollars. The only thing that I can say that I got from Vince’s stalker storyline was watching Drama in make-up this episode and the cute girl who worked at the sex shop.

Jeremy Piven as Ari Gold
The rest of the show and all its storylines flowed really nicely. I love Jeremy Piven on this show; he makes you pay attention to every line he says because you never know what he’s going to say. Having Zac Efron on the episode was cool also and I loved how they sort of bashed his Disney image. For the last several episodes, Lloyd has been doing everything that Ari has told him and things came to fruition when Adam Davies offers Lloyd a job. Sure this offer is probably a way to get back at Ari, but it was cool to see Lloyd reject the offer because of the loyalty he has for Ari. Lloyd’s rejection of the offer made us cheer for him when he decides to take it after Ari yelled at him for the entire episode. I did think that maybe Jeremy Piven berating Lloyd was a bit over the top, but Ari is an over the top kind of character. It’ll be interesting to see where all of this ends up, whether Lloyd will be happy being an agent and whether Ari will realize that without Lloyd, life is a little more miserable.
I also liked how they’ve now turned Ashley into the type of girlfriend that you don’t want. It doesn’t make sense why she wants to get back with Eric in the first place, when she doesn’t trust him already. If I didn’t like Ashley before, I really don’t like her now. I’m sure this won’t end up good for this new reunited couple.
Now there wasn’t a lot of time devoted to it, but what is up with this new sorority girls’ prank on Turtle? It’s weird, but it’ll be interesting to see what’s in store for him next episode. It’s odd to see Turtle with his own little storyline, but very cool too. I also don’t get why he didn’t tell Jamie and decided to keep it a secret. I can’t imagine this will help their relationship, especially with the fact that now girls seem to be taking an interest in Turtle himself.
So I like the majority of this episode, but there was really just too much time devoted to this stalker storyline and to see it amount to nothing was just a waste of time. The only good thing is now it’s over and it looks like Vince will be getting back to work soon. There’s no doubt in my mind though that Entourage can make a comeback with the next episode because very rarely does Entourage make a mistake two episodes in a row. The scoring is a bit tough with this episode though, because what I did like I really liked.
