This episode has to be the worst that this season. That says a lot because it was a good episode. This season had yet to disappoint. This episode was the weakest but it was better than most shows on television. This weak episode proves how good True Blood is. It’s one of the few shows where even a filler episode is good.
Sookie, for once, had a very good storyline this episode. For the first time in a long time, it was entertaining to see Sookie on True Blood. No whining and complaining. She didn’t fight to prove she was right. Sookie finally knew her place and the True Blood universe felt right… for a change. Sookie followed Bill’s lead and went to help Godrick. She did it with the help of Jessica and Bill. Too bad they couldn’t reach him. Bill smelled something fishy and glamored the limo driver into thinking they never showed up. Eric didn’t like that one bit and told Bill that he can take his attitude and shove it up his you know where. I wonder if Eric and Bill can ever get along.

Rutina Wesley as Tara Thornton
Speaking of Eric, he had fun with Lafayette in this episode. Lafayette thought he was done with Eric but he was so wrong. Eric told him that he found him curious because Sookie cared about him. He gave Lafayette his blood and healed him to his full potential. He was 100 percent alright. Watching Lafayette hump everything around his home was funny enough. Tara had her share of fun as well. It was her birthday and Maryann thew one hell of a party. People where eating dirt, cake, and sexually organs. Tara even got some booty for her b-day. Maryann is one hell of a goddess but what is she? It looks like she can be some kind of animal even the poisonous kind.
Jason had his share of fun and scares for one episode. His mates played a very funny joke on him by pretending to be killed by a vampire. Jason didn’t think so and gave his opposer a black eye. Jason had the last laugh when he was made a soldier of the light. His peers teased him that was because of Sarah the head priest’s wife. They think she wants to bed him and from the looks of things he wants to bed her too. I hope he keeps his wee wee in his pants this time around. Who knows what the husband would do to Jason if he learned their true feelings.

Ryan Kwanten as Jason Stackhouse, Anna Camp as Sarah Newlin
Despite the storyline continuing this episode, this episode felt rushed and was made only to further along the season. It isn’t a bad episode but it is worth a mess. Other than Tara getting laid and Maryann turning into some animal you really didn’t miss much. True Blood is an amazing show but this isn’t the one you want to show your friends. Jessica was still adorable to watch though!
