I was surprised by Jessica’s interest in becoming friends with Sookie. She’s such an immature young woman and I figured she would have made another smartass remark to Sookie when she offered to have a little girl time the next day. I’m more interested in seeing this play out than anything else.

I wasn’t so enthusiastic about Sookie’s brother turning over a new leaf. As much of a pig as he was in the first season, he can be a fun character. His new interest in that religious group is a sure-fire way to cause problems with Sookie and Bill eventually.

Maryanne and Sam’s story was shocking, but it didn’t prove to be as interesting as I had hoped it would be.
