This episode was interesting. It had an intriguing storyline that at times was a little boring to view. It was something different for a change but it felt like an episode of Dead Like Me. On the other hand it did provide mystery around the death of an old friend. Who killed the old lady? The answer was quite surprising.
Echo was possessed by this woman’s mind. She was eager to find out who killed her. She knew the operator of the dollhouse. In case of her ever being murdered, she asked to be brought back to discovery the killer. I guess rich people always get what they want. When Echo appeared at the funeral, she discovered some interesting things. She realized that no one liked her when she was alive and that her family were the main suspects. I can only imagine how that would feel.

She decided to talk to each one of them to find out why they disliked her. Her daughter claims that she was never interested in her lifestyle. Se told her that her new husband was messing around with other woman and that she should have never trusted him. This leads to her suspecting him as the killer. She tries to seduce the husband but fails quite embarrassingly. He tells her to talk to the uncle since they never got along. She learns the uncle’s true feelings and that he couldn’t have done such a thing. She had a talk with her son that lead him to believe that she was hitting on him. He gives his mother a wet one and she almost vomits! After that, he realized that his mother was in Echo. He is also a client of the dollhouse. They inevitably over hear the husband being told that her horse were juiced up. This puts him in a rage and he begins to get violent. He sees the two hiding and the mystery around her death begins to unfold.
They begin to run away only to be chased by him. The son tells Echo to write down everything that they learned. The mother realizes though that her husband knew nothing about juicing up horses, especially how to hide the truth. She knew it as someone else. Her son came clean about the information and tried to kill his mother again. The husband intervenes and starts to fight with the boy. The boy ends up getting knocked out, landing on the floor. The mother writes a letter and a new will that confirms the son’s plan. She gives everyone what they deserves and finds a way to let them know how she truly about them.
Echo didn’t have all the fun though. Topher and Sierra became best buddies. Topher used her as his best friend or the friend he always wanted but never got. These two shared the best chemistry the show ever had and i think they need to be paired again. It was great seeing Topher happy for once and so did his boss. It must be lonely in that dollhouse since both of them needs a friend or lover. Paul had a difficult time playing stupid since he learned the truth behind everything’s. He does give a rough time in bed but that was due to his frustration. Next week he finally gets what he wants but it will come with a price.
This episode was decent to watch. At times it was slow and boring and at other times it was exciting and funny. Topher and Sierra was the best thing to watch and I hope we get to see something like that again. This episode deserves a decent rating. This show is unique and actually better than most shows on television. They just need to be consistent with the quality of the story lines they give us every week.
