Reaper’s first season ended with more talk about who Sam’s real father is. Sam’s dad didn’t like to talk about the secret, but he claimed that he couldn’t talk about it, even after he caught his parents talking in a circle, which as we all know, means their conversation can’t be heard by The Devil.

I really enjoyed Sock’s little story this week. He doesn’t always get a story of his own, but he had a funny one in “Cancun”. He and a special demon had some fun kissing, but Sock blew it when he asked her if she could kiss Ben too. This was a sadly predictable conclusion.

REAPER

Sock’s kiss came in handy when he and Sam were going after a Tarot card reader. Sock’s burst of energy and strength allowed him to save Sam and catch the soul at the same time. I thought this was a little silly though, even for this show.

I enjoyed the stuff with Tony and Steve. It was cute to see that Steve made it back to heaven. I wonder if Tony will too since he also has been fighting against The Devil.

Tony’s plan to catch Sam and put him into that huge cage was strange and I couldn’t believe it when Sam’s father ended up being buried.

This was only made stranger when it was shown that his father managed to survive the event. Just who is this man? Or better yet, what is he? No ordinary human would have been able to survive such an event.

I’m looking forward to season two of Reaper, which starts tonight on The CW. Check your local listings.
