Having gotten tired of Nate’s drinking, the rest of the Leverage team have decided to stage an intervention. However, instead of sending Nate to rehab, they decide to get revenge on Ian Blackpoole, the CEO of the insurance company which denied the treatment which would have saved Nate’s son, Sam.

Ripping off the CEO got more difficult for the crew when Nate’s ex-wife, Maggie, showed up. She has been working as Ian’s art inspector for some time and has no idea about Blackpoole denied the treatment for Sam. It’s unclear what she knows about the subject, however.

Beth Riesgraf as Parker

Since I knew this was going to be just the first half of the season finale, I knew there were going to be some twists and turns to the episode, but I admit to being surprised by how many there were.

I liked how Sterling and his crew caught everyone and forced Sophie to hand over her David statue. The way those scenes went down was very clever.

Now the same would have to go for the way the Leverage team got out of their predicament. I absolutely loved how Sophie and Parker dove off the roof. It was very exciting to see.

This was a wonderful first-half to the season finale. Typically two-part season finales leave most of the exciting stuff for the end, but this was a very good episode. It wasn’t at all what I was expecting it to be. I’m still wondering how much Maggie knows and whether or not Nate will tell her everything about Ian Blackpoole.
