This past episode of The Simpsons had a very unusual story focusing on Lisa Simpson who for the first time in God knows how long, managed to make a best friend. She was just as smart and adventurous as Lisa and they seemed to be a good pairing until they began spending a little too much time together.

The two actually created their own imaginary world where they ruled, of course. This episode was undoubtedly inspired by the many adventure movies marketed for children in the past three or four years. Some of those are good, but I didn’t care of this episode.
I had a really difficult time finding much in the way of humor in “Lisa the Drama Queen”. I may have chuckled once or twice, but that’s pretty poor for an episode of The Simpsons. This episode was simply boring and a waste of time. Fall Out Boy’s take on the famous theme song was probably the highlight of the evening.
