Last week’s Leverage wasn’t quit what I had expected when it comes to Parker (Beth Riesgraf). Parker often comes across as somewhat childish but is quite funny. I really like her character. She’s just adorable.

I do believe that it has been previously established that Parker came from a foster background and it only seems obvious that she would encounter children like her.

Beth Riesgraf as Parker

The scam done by the team was very good and worked out well… too well if you ask me. There wasn’t the typical huddling together to devise an all-new way to deal with whatever problems they have encountered. Everything seemed to go according to plan except for the very end when Parker decided to go back to that warehouse and help the kids.

It’s interesting to find that the child that the team was asked to get actually liked the American family who wanted him. In my opinion, the team had absolutely no right to give the child to the family. There was no clear indication that the child liked the family until the last scene. It wasn’t really the story I was looking for.

What I did like was the trust/team stuff that came about following Parker’s little stabbing incident. I certainly can’t fault her for her heavy-handed tactics, but she put the team in potential danger with her stunt.

Rating: 7.5
