This episode opens with Hiro crying over his broken sword. He doesn’t believe that he can stop Sylar without it. Ando has a great idea and finds a repair man in the Yellow Pages. I guess you can really find anything in the Yellow Pages. Before they get there, they run into Nathan. They realize that Nathan has become a villain and won’t help them. It looked like he broke Hiro’s heart because he was screaming VILLAIN several times. They take the sword to the man they found in the Yellow Pages but only to find out that someone wants to see them. It turns out to be Hiro’s father! Hiro’s father wants to teach him how to handle the sword and stop Sylar. It looks like Hiro’s dad is finally proud of him for becoming a man.

Peter was able to calm himself before he exploded and it seems as though Peter can control his powers after all. This made everyone happy for the moment. H.R.G. took Parkman with him to go after the tracking system while the others tried to get Ted out of the city. Sylar had other plans though and got Ted captured by the FBI. On the way to prison, Sylar bum-rushes the van and takes Ted’s power. At episode’s end, Sylar is standing looking over the city ready to do his bidding.

Zachary Quinto as Syler

We finally found out what Linderman wants to do with Micah. He wants Micah to help Nathan win the election. Since Micah can communicate with computers, he wants him to tell them to vote for Nathan by a landslide decision. This proves to be beneficial to Nathan but not to Micah’s body. He seems to be exhausted after what he did and Candice looks to be concerned. I guess spending time with children can make you care… a little.

Niki/Jessica and DL find their way to New York. Their purpose is to get back Micah and Kill Linderman. With Nathan’s help they find where Linderman is. They ran into up Matt Parkman and H.R.G. and they told them what floor Linderman is on. Parkman realizes that they have been spotted and H.R.G. uses it against them. H.R.G. was able to sneak up on Thompson, played by Eric Roberts, and shoots him in the head! They reach the laboratory and Matt finds out that the tracking system is the same little girl that he saved from Sylar. He gets knocked out and there is a standoff between Mohinder and H.R.G.!

Niki and DL reach Linderman at his office and has a few words with him. He tells them that Micah is on the 45th floor. Jessica is on her way to find him when he tries to pay off Jessica to kill DL. He offers her over 20 million dollars to take the money but chooses not to and brings back Niki. It seems as though they now are one! Linderman doesn’t like it and shoots DL. He tries to put a bullet in Niki but DL pops out of nowhere and puts his hand though his head!

By episode’s end we are all geared up for the season finale. Peter now knows that Sylar got to Ted. Peter must stop Sylar but is afraid that he will lose. Linderman is now dead but DL got shot. Will he die or will the others help him? Before Linderman’s death/ he was able to heal Nathan’s wife and he plans on using it for his acceptance speech. If Linderman can heal others is it possible he can heal himself to? All these questions should be answered and then some for the season finale. I just hope Ando doesn’t get killed going after Sylar. Hiro has to become a man and save his friend or else New York is a gonner!
