Prison Break picked up right where it left off last week with the general and his security meeting Michael in the room containing Scylla. The general was quite smug at first but quickly changed his tune once he realized what Michael Scofield and his friends had been up to. They managed to unlock a hard drive from Scylla and escaped the complex after Sara took the general’s daughter hostage.
The hostage situation played out quite well. Much of the attention remained with the men. There was a lot of posturing. The general let it be known that Lincoln & Michael’s father wasn’t merely a data analyst. He had a more important role within The Company.

Michael (Wentworth Miller, R) faces off with General Krantz (Leon Russom, L)
Gretchen and T-Bag turned things up a notch at GATE when the boss noticed a gun. The two criminals immediately went into action, moving everyone into one office and waiting to hear from Scofield. Although T-Bag and Gretchen didn’t get killed, T-Bag did get captured by the undercover FBI agent, T-Bag’s secretary.
Everything went well until the team’s meeting with Agent Don Self. I don’t know what it was, but as soon as Self handed Michael that envelope of papers, I wanted Michael to open the envelope to check everything out. There was certainly something wrong here. I knew that Self was only looking out for himself (pun intended). It took the gang a little while to figure it out.
I felt bad for the guys after going to the lengths in which they did for all of this. They ended up getting shafted by a guy who seems to only want money. He doesn’t seem to be working with The Company; he just wants cash. The plot twist was nice, but I have to admit that the apparent motive behind Self’s turn is incredibly boring. Sorry, but I can’t get behind another lame story about greed.
This was otherwise a very good episode. Prison Break only has another dozen or so episodes to wrap up its series if you listen to the things that are being said about Fox’s plans for the show.
