Cryonics has been a very controversial procedure since it was proposed. The idea of preserving one’s body until a cure for the person’s death as been found, only to bring that body back to life is an odd one. I don’t think I’ll be checking out any of those facilities anytime soon.

I had a tough time figuring out the motive while I was watching this episode. There didn’t seem to be a very good one and when all was explained, I wasn’t all that pleased with the explanation. I suppose there’s never really a good reason to kill someone, but for the coroner to kill people because he wanted to stop Cryonics, well, that’s just disappointing.

Marley Shelton as Rachel Young, Rufus Sewell as Dr. Jacob Hood

Maybe it’s because I’m a guy, but I just haven’t quite been able to figure out what all of these women are falling all over themselves for Dr. Jacob Hood. Did you see this episode? Virtually every woman except for Rachel practically invited Hood into their bed. I just don’t see what the attraction is to the man. Rachel took notice of all of the attention Hood has been getting and she didn’t quite understand it either.

“Frozen” just wasn’t anything special in the grand scheme of things. The cases on this show aren’t all that fascinating to be honest about it. I had hoped for something inspiring from Eleventh Hour, but I can get far more compelling storytelling from other shows right now. I’m just not impressed. At this point, I’m just watching because of Marley Shelton, who plays Rachel Young.
