Of the previous episodes, this was the only episode that got a little confusing for me. Early on in the episode, the Moya saw another vessel blow up, piece by piece and rescued the emergency vessel which carried two scientists.
D’Argo became very close to them due to their similar species. This species is essentially a cousin to his. A war which began when D’Argo was imprisoned broke out and the two species have been working together to defeat their common enemy, the Scorvions.

Can D’Argo really trust her?
John Crichton, while investigating the emergency vessel, ended up getting exposed to a bizarre substance aboard the ship, giving him a number of unusual visions, including sexual fantasies and finally visions of the future. John’s premonitions were very interesting because they all showed betrayal and death aboard the Moya.
After struggling with his visions, he told Zhaan about them and with her help, he managed to save the Moya from being destroyed, but did break D’Argo’s heart by revealing a secret. We don’t know the real reason D’Argo was imprisoned but we know D’Argo wasn’t entirely truthful to his crew members. It was tough for D’Argo and John to go through what they did, but that pain is lessened by the fact that they both now know how a woman’s presence can cloud their judgement.
