This episode begins with Sookie going all crazy for her man, Bill. The police are all present at the house that burned down and they stupidly tell that there are four bodies being uncovered. She automatically believes Bill is one of them and runs through the police to the caskets. Unfortunately, the bodies were all liquefied except for some teeth. Believing Bill is no longer alive, she becomes a mega witch! She instantly begins cleaning up the house while having a flashback of her dead grandmother lying on the floor. This must have kicked her “witchness” in because when Tara came over to give her some good news, all Sookie could do was think about herself. She expected Tara to know about Bill but she failed to realize that Tara had her own life. They got into a heated argument that ruined their friendship. They didn’t speak again for the rest of the episode.

Sookie quickly got better though. She was able to find Bill at the cemetery she was visiting. She was crying over her father’s grave when Bill popped out from underneath the ground! Sookie was relieved while Bill was extremely horny. He wasn’t looking for any type of small talk. He went directly for the good stuff and Sookie allowed it. This had to be the most disturbing scene of the episode. She had sex with a dirty vampire who only uses her for blood and sex. This girl is drunk on love and it’s not pretty to watch. She was happy when she went to work knowing that Bill was alive. It bugged the hell out of Sam, but like everyone she has been treating, Sookie just didn’t care about where he was coming from. She has been acting really stupid and mean and is alienating herself from everyone in town. Before this season is over, I believe this girl will end up alone, looking stupid. For Anna Paquin, it shouldn’t be too hard to pull off.

Out of desperation, her friend Arlene Fowler, played by Carrie Preston, asked Sookie to watch her children. She ended up almost regretting it once she found out that Bill was going to watch them too! Arlene didn’t like it but didn’t have a choice. She gave them silver just in case Bill didn’t keep his fangs to himself. Bill is a great guy and it showed with the children. The kids had a good time with them, making Sookie believe that she and Bill could have a family. After a dream about them being together like husband and wife, this made it unlikely. After all, Bill can’t stomach the sun. Bill had an unexpected visitor at his home. Eric requested him to bring Sookie to his bar to clear up a misunderstanding. He wanted her to read the human’s minds to see if they can get everything cleared up. She did her duty but it got her into a lot of trouble with the bartender. I wish I can say I hope nothing happens to her but with the way she has been acting, I hope she gets her butt kicked!

Tara had her own situation as well. Her mother seemed to have turned over a new leaf. She even made Tara breakfast. You would think that Tara would be happy with her mother’s new-found hope but she isn’t. She believes that her mother is still miserable and is just putting up a front. I thought that Tara might be right until she got into another heated argument with Sam! She got mad because he made a comment about her grunting. She thought he was being racist and he wisely made it known that he isn’t because she has banging him. She storms out angrily while Sam lays there in shock. Tara now believes she may have a demon in her to and goes to talk with the exorcist. With the way the old woman was talking to her, it looks like we may have another exorcist sequel, coming out any time now. This time it’s the daughter that needs to be saved!

Anna Paquin as Sookie

Speaking of saving, what has Jason got himself into this week? Oh yeah that’s right, hooking up with a crazy chick! Just like all crazy girls, she wasn’t like this at first sight. After their evening of fun with the v, Jason has falling head over heels for this woman. It was so good he begged her to stay in town. She agreed and it looked like Jason had finally found a good woman. He took her to his favorite bar and grill and she was able to impress the right people. Sam gave her a job as the new waitress and Sookie didn’t like it. She told Amy about Jason’s dirty deeds when it came to women but Amy told her not to think of her brother like that. He is a good man and she needs to open her eyes and see that. Sookie was struck by her sudden understanding of her brother and so was I. Everything seemed to be on the good side until she started to jones for the V. I thought Jason jonesing for the V was bad but this girl puts him to shame. She convinces him to follow Lafayette to his V supplier. Thanks to her we were treated to some awkward entertainment involving Lafayette and his gay vampire! After Lafayette fulfills his deed and leaves, Amy and Jason spring into action. They kidnap the vampire and put him in the back of Jason’s truck. Jason was surprised and a little scared of how far Amy was taking it. This vampire is harmless and didn’t deserve what he was getting. Jason has realized that he is with a monster and I wonder what he will do now to get away from her. Giving this girl personality she isn’t going to let him go easily.

Sam got more airtime in this episode. He was approached by two people about him running naked in the woods. He made one think he was still crazy and the other a dumb story about his parents being nudist and how he was keeping their memory alive by running around naked in the woods once a year. The guy didn’t buy it and called up the place he said his parents lived at. They said that nobody by that last name lived in their facility. It looks like Sam has some explaining to do now that he has been caught in a lie. What was Sam up to and will it affect everyone around him? The way this show is going it probably will.

This episode wasn’t the best and it wasn’t the worst. The actors did a good job with their roles again and their writing and directing is still one of the best on television. The flow of the episode just didn’t feel right though. Some of the actors’ lines felt rushed and didn’t have much emotion behind them. The Tara and Sookie fight is a good example. Rutina Wesley and Anna Paquin must be good friends because Rutina didn’t seem her angry self during their argument. She tried to look furious but it came off as if she was just pretending and not feeling the moment. Usually you can’t tell if she is acting or being real but this time you can tell she was acting. Other than that and Sookie’s new found attitude, this episode was good. I just hope Sookie and Tara next fight can feel more real!
