“Are You There God? It’s Me, Dean Winchester” is the perfect name to this episode, being a big fan of Judy Blume when I was younger, it was nice to see a title of Supernatural be connected to the book. It’s also the perfect name, because the girl in the book questioned a lot of things and in this episode, Dean questions God and religion too.

This week, people that Dean and Sam have known are coming back from the dead. The crew don’t know why, even Bobby had people from his past show up too. Most noticeably Meg made an appearance. She died off first season and her hair looked really different, so if you didn’t actually watch first season or you’re not a total dedicated viewer, it was kind of hard to recognize who she is, but she was pain in the butt. Agent Henrickson was back also and it was nice to have him back, but a bit sad when he describes how Lilith tortured them all before she killed them, even the nice secretary. It did bring up the reminder of the episode when I started to hate Lilith though.

Jim Beaver as Bobby

The chase was pretty fun and it was cool to see the team get caught off guard. Dean and Sam both hesitated before actually fighting back against the ghosts that were haunting them. The room Boby had built was awesome, just like Dean said and it’s been great to have Bobby in the two episode, because he really just adds to the dynamic that the boys have. Plus it’s cool having an older person to somewhat supervise Dean and Sam. He’s also the only one who could really call the boys idiots without getting his butt kicked.

Then we had Dean talking to Castiel and and it was cool that Dean asks questions that normal people ask about God and because we’re dealing with religion here, the answers to some of his questions might never be answered and it looks like they’re going to mix a little religion with a lot of Supernatural mythology and come up with something that will be satisfying enough

It was another good episode, but the outcome of the ghosts coming back was a bit more boring then the actual chase. It was a logical way to kill the ghosts, but the entertainment value for the audience wasn’t really there. Plus what did the two girls that were haunting Bobby have to do with him, because he seemed really shook up by seeing them. This was still a good episode and we’re just waiting to see where the story will go from here.
