Prison Break is progressing quite nicely. The Scylla cards are coming together, Wyatt is getting closer to getting to Don Self, and T-Bag is on the run. T-Bag stepped things up when the screws were put to him at the office last week and now Gretchen.
The scene between Gretchen and T-Bag went about as I suspected it would. Both are pretty hard people. With T-Bag on the receiving end of a few nasty cuts courtesy of Gretchen’s cold steel, Gretchen found herself in the driver seat, but she does need T-Bag.

Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield and Robert Knepper as T-Bag
I liked the little setup that Bellick got involved in. Brad can be rather clueless sometimes, so he clearly wasn’t about to see this coming. Then again, neither did Michael, who got roped into the setup and stuffed in the back of the van. I have a difficult time believing Mahone’s escape, however. It wasn’t the drop so much as the shooting which went on. It ticks me off when someone with a gun never seems to be able to hit anything with it.
It was only a matter of time before Agent Self manned up and took it to the General. Sure, he needed some encouragement and advice from a reluctant Mahone, but it happened. The General was none too pleased to be visited by Self, so I’m very interested in seeing how this goes down in the following weeks.
Gretchen and T-Bag worked well together for a while, but leave it to Scofield to think up a plan to get T-Bag trapped and out of his hair for a while. That didn’t seem to work out in the long run judging by the phone call Gretchen made to Michael and company at the end of the episode.
Each week everything comes together bit by bit. I wasn’t aware Gretchen had another page of the book, but I suspect there won’t be many surprises with that portion of the story. Poor Roland cost the team a very valuable piece of technology when casino security took that device he made. He got greedy, but at least they were able to get the fifth card thanks to Sucre.
