Just last week, the boys found themselves in a murder investigation when they were at their high school graduation reunion and now, they’re in a similar situation this week. I’m not against this sort of thing, Shawn and Gus investigating a crime that they happen upon, but it’s certainly not something I’d like to see happen every week.
It seemed pretty obvious that someone on the team was trying to kill Dutch the Clutch (what a silly name), but I never would have guessed he was trying to kill himself to give his family insurance money. I thought that Shawn’s speech at the end was excellent, something you don’t usually see from him.

Carlton and Juliet still didn’t have that big of a role this week, but it was comical to see Juliet involved in his personal life again. It doesn’t seem all that long ago that she tried to get together a little surprise birthday party which blew up in her face when she invited all of the people Carlton arrested, to the party. This didn’t seem to go a whole lot better for them.
My favorite moment in the Daredevils episode was clearly the bike chase scene. Shawn and Gus getting decked out in the goggles and old clothing was funny, and it was made all the better when they climbed onto the bike and it turned out Gus’ side car wasn’t even attached. That was a rare laugh-out-loud moment for me.
Despite all of this, I didn’t really love the episode the way I have some of the others. It had great elements to it, but it just felt like it was lacking something.

Awesome episode, I thought. There was a lot of drama here that we don’t usually get to see on this show–not that comedy is bad thing, though. There was way more depth here than in most Psych episodes.
