American Gladiators: “Episode 119″ — 8:00pm ET/PT on NBC. Four more contenders take one step closer to reaching their goal of becoming American Gladiator Champions, as the semi-finals progress and the competition heats up.

High School Musical: Get in the Picture: “Western Semifinals and Finals” — 8:00pm ET/PT on ABC. The semifinalists for “High School Musical: Get in the Picture” from the Western half of the United States, strangers until now, must dance, sing and work together to earn a spot as one of the series’ 12 finalists. However by the show’s end, only six from this group will be told by host Nick Lachey that they are moving on as finalists.

Top Gear: “Christopher Eccleston” — 8:00pm ET/PT on BBC America.

Air Jaws: Sharks of South Africa — 8:00pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel. Witness the awesome power of great white sharks hurtling themselves out of the water to attack their prey. Among the most spectacular predatory events in nature, only great whites of South Africa’s False Bay engage in this mighty display.

Good Eats with Alton Brown: “Tomatoes” — 8:00pm ET/PT on Food Network. Repeat — Learn everything you need to know about making the best use of the biggest berry to ever be called a vegetable. Take a serious look at serrated knives, a strange and delicious sandwich and a tomato sauce that almost isn’t.

The Big Bang Theory: “The Nerdvana Annihilation” — 8:00pm ET/PT on CBS. Repeat — When Leonard and the guys buy a time machine prop from a classic 1960 movie, its arrival creates problems for Penny and she tells the boys that their obsession with comics and toys is “pathetic.”

Bones: “Player Under Pressure” — 8:00pm ET/PT on Fox. Repeat — Brennan and Booth visit a college campus where human remains are found under the bleachers of a basketball court. Although the body had been crushed beyond recognition underneath the bleachers, a gold “#11″ necklace identifies the victim as RJ Manning, the star point guard of the school’s nationally ranked basketball team. After reconstructing RJ’s skull, the team determines that he was dead before the bleachers crushed him. Brennan and Booth navigate the world of big-time collegiate basketball and interview multiple leads to find out who could possibly have benefited from RJ’s demise. After investigating those with the closest ties to RJ, including his faithful girlfriend, his future basketball agent and his replacement on the school’s team, Brennan and Booth uncover several different plausible motives for RJ’s murder. Later the team discovers that RJ may have been caught up in a rather risqu situation at the time of his death, and they wonder if more than one person could have been involved in his murder. Meanwhile, Hodgins attempts to take his relationship with Angela to the next level, but his courting methods prove to be far less tactful than his scientific ones.

How’d That Get On My Plate?: “Strawberries” — 8:30pm ET/PT on Food Network. Sunny Anderson follows strawberries from a California farm to an ice cream maker in Colorado, a strawberry margarita mix in Davenport, Fl., strawberry spread in Lawton, Mich., and strawberry nougat-filled candies at Hammonds candies.

How I Met Your Mother: “Something Blue” — 8:30pm ET/PT on CBS. Repeat — When Barney overhears that Ted and Robin have a secret at the wedding reception, he begins to speculate about what it might be, but what they are hiding even stuns the unflappable Barney.

Nashville Star: “Episode 608″ — 9:00pm ET/PT on NBC.

Unwrapped with Marc Summers: “Pucker Up” — 9:00pm ET/PT on Food Network. Marc Summers tackles tartness and puckers up for Warheads, frozen Limeade, Sour Punch Straws and Bob’s Frozen Pickle Pops.

The Closer: “Cherry Bomb” — 9:00pm ET/PT on TNT. Brenda scrutinizes the suicide of a high-school girl who had earlier reported that she was raped by the son of a Los Angeles lawman.

Wanna Bet — 9:00pm ET/PT on ABC. Celebrity contestants playing for charity compete in Hula Hoop Semi-Truck Tire, where a man must hula hoop a 50-pound tire; CD Licker, which requires a blindfolded person to identify four CDs just by licking them; and Moving Couch Puzzle.

Surviving Sharks — 9:00pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel. Les Stroud puts himself in some of the most frightening scenarios imaginable to find out what, if anything, you can do when you cross paths with some of the deadliest species of sharks on the planet.

The Recruiter — 9:00pm ET/PT on HBO. This documentary takes viewers to a Louisiana coastal community, where we witness firsthand one recruiter’s intense struggle to enlist new soldiers into the U.S. Army. The film offers a glimpse of the human drama surrounding recruits’ decisions to enlist through its remarkable central character: the charismatic Sergeant First Class Clay Usie, one of the most successful Army recruiters working in America.

Prehistoric Monsters Revealed — 9:00pm ET/PT on History Channel. 99% of all animal and sea creatures who ever lived have become extinct. Watch as some of the most bizarre and strangest creatures are brought back to life. Meet the nothronychus (a strange amalgam of bird and sloth), the anomalocarus (a 7-foot shrimp), as well as saber-toothed cats, mastodons and wooly rhinoceros. Advanced computer graphics, location shooting and expert interviews, will reveal detailed illustrations of what these ancient monsters looked like, where and how they lived, and how they died.

House: “It’s a Wonderful Lie” — 9:00pm ET/PT on Fox. Repeat — House and the team treat a woman who suffers from a sudden paralysis of the hands that causes an injury to her daughter while she’s spotting her at an indoor rock-climbing wall. As House probes the woman and her injured daughter for any leads as to what might be causing her condition, House is convinced that the woman is withholding information. When the woman’s daughter reveals some very descriptive details about her mother’s personal life, House isn’t so sure the woman hides anything about herself from the people around her, especially her daughter. As the team runs tests to find out what caused her paralysis, the woman loses her eyesight and her system begins to shut down, and House and the team are baffled as to whether it is the woman herself, or her own physiology that is lying to them. Meanwhile, House lets his team participate in a Secret Santa gift exchange, but he puts his own twist on the holiday tradition.

Two and a Half Men: “Kinda Like Necrophilia” — 9:00pm ET/PT on CBS. Repeat — Alan seeks revenge when he discovers that Charlie stole his high school girlfriend.

The New Adventures of Old Christine: “Beauty Is Only Spanx Deep” — 9:30pm ET/PT on CBS. Repeat — Christine considers plastic surgery after a pretty young waitress flirts with Mr. Harris.

Unwrapped: “All About Orange” — 9:30pm ET/PT on Food Network. Time for a little citrus sensation because Marc Summers is peeling open stories on orange-flavored foods. Up first, the Clementine. Find out why this Cutie is so easy to peel. Next, push on to Schwan’s for a behind-the-scenes look at the summertime treat, Orange Push ‘ems and find out what makes Welch’s Marmalade so a peeling. Also, discover how Goose Island Brewery creates a soda that’s brewed to taste like a popsicle.

The Mole: “Episode 508″ — 9:00pm ET/PT on ABC. The players can’t believe their eyes when their entire world turns upside down. With only two executions left, guns blaze in Buenos Aires as the final four take aim at the game’s final exemption — and each other.

Paranormal State: “Good vs. Evil” — 10:00pm ET/PT on A&E. Season Premiere — PRS visits a western Pennsylvania couple wracked by a torrent of paranormal activity. Religious objects have been destroyed, televisions, lights and fans mysteriously turn on and off, and dead animals repeatedly show up on their stoop. Ryan’s investigation turns up a New Orleans connection that leaves the couple fearful for their lives. Dead Time offers some of the strongest evidence to date, and guest tech expert Chad Calek and psychic Chip Coffey get more than they bargain for when they join Ryan in the basement.

Saving Grace: “A Little Hometown Love” — 10:00pm ET/PT on TNT. When a civilian police department employee is murdered at Louie’s, the squad’s favorite hangout, the entire team is driven to find the killer who brazenly attacked one of their own. Meanwhile, Ham’s brother Rafe ships out to Iraq.

Weeds: “Yes I Can” — 10:00pm ET/PT on Showtime. When Nancy is denied a share of the incoming pot by Guillermo, she decides to go over his head to Esteban. Celia discovers the cheap medication at Mexican pharmacies. Silas and Lisa get intimate, while Shane discovers some shocking photos. Andy and Doug begin interviewing for their human smuggling operation.

Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations: “Uruguay ” — 10:00pm ET/PT on Travel Channel. Tony Bourdain and his brother, Chris, are on a mission to connect with their family in Uruguay, after learning of the roots that the old Bourdain generations set up in this tiny South American country.

The Middleman: “The Cursed Tuba Contingency” — 10:00pm ET/PT on ABC Family. Wendy and The Middleman must destroy a cursed tuba from the Titanic before innocent people drown by the sound of the horn.

Day of the Shark — 10:00pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel. This harrowing hour reveals the science behind what triggers sharks to attack at certain times of day, and what rules humans should follow to avoid incident.

History’s Mysteries: Ancient Monster Hunters — 10:00pm ET/PT on History Channel. One-breasted female warriors; the one-eyed, man-eating Cyclops; the ferocious griffin, part bird, part lion. Were these creatures, celebrated by the ancient Greeks and immortalized by Homer, something more than myth? Join the hunt with some of today’s leading paleontologists as we explore newly-translated evidence and examine remains that may link the Greek classical age with Earth’s prehistoric past. New data suggests that the ancients searched for, excavated, measured, and displayed massive fossils.

Diners, Drive-ins and Dives: “Burgers and Dogs” — 10:00pm ET/PT on Food Network. Guy Fieri visits classic joints doing burgers and dogs including a Baltimore spot for Coney dogs from an 80-year-old recipe; Austin, Tx. for Serrano peppers and hot buffalo sauce burgers; and a Minneapolis dog and burger dive.

CSI Miami: “Born to Kill” — 10:00pm ET/PT on CBS. Repeat — When a serial killer suspected of killing young women and branding them with a ‘Y’ is caught and also identified as having the extra Y chromosome, the ‘criminal gene,’ the team feels that they have closed their case until the killings begin again.

Paranormal State: “Family Ties” — 10:30pm ET/PT on A&E. Jimmie is haunted by the apparition of a mysterious old woman who peers at him in the bathroom of his family’s Petersburg, VA home. When Ryan and PRS delve into the family history, they hit a nerve with Jimmie’s dad, Parker. But psychic CJ Sellers gives a reading so precise it prompts the family to open up about a dark event in their past. During Dead Time the group contacts the spirit of the old woman, whose message sets them all on a path to healing.

Secret Diary of a Call Girl: “Episode 7″ — 10:30pm ET/PT on Showtime. A married couple books Belle for a foursome and Ben suggests he sign on for a one-time deal. Belle is shocked - not only was he appalled by what she does for a living up until very recently, but what makes him think it is that easy to become a professional escort over night? Ben begs her to give him a chance - he puts himself through Belle’s “interview” test and finally she agrees to give him a shot. The couple arrives and the fun begins: Belle with Kate; Ben with Kate; Belle with Liam - then Kate and Liam start to make love all on their own while Belle and Ben find themselves in an awkward tryst.

Diners, Drive-ins and Dives: “Where the Locals Go” — 10:30pm ET/PT on Food Network. Repeat — Guy Fieri finds local favorites from a third generation cafeteria outside Atlanta that serves Southern favorites, a Louisiana bar with a culinary school grad who’s making everything from rabbit to turtle soup; and the Albuquerque, N.M. steakhouse you can enter through the liquor store.

Late Show with David Letterman — 10:35pm ET/PT on CBS. Guests are Gillian Anderson, Simon Pegg, and We Are Scientists.
