Gangs of New York — 7:00pm ET/PT on Bravo. A young Irish immigrant becomes intertwined with the leading gang of Five Points during the 1860s in Manhattan. While seeking to avenge his father’s death, he falls in love with an independent-minded pickpocket. Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis, Cameron Diaz, Jim Broadbent, John C. U.S. Olympic Track Trials — 8:00pm ET/PT on NBC.

Cops: “Strange Behavior #1 (CP-2014)” — 8:00pm ET/PT on Fox. Repeat — When a 70-year old parole violator leads officers on a high-speed chase in Kansas City, MO, spike strips, helicopter patrol and hounds become involved in the pursuit. In Las Vegas, NV, officers investigate a dispute involving two transvestites accused of disturbing the peace. Police officers in Rialto, CA, respond to a traffic accident involving an abandoned and stolen vehicle.

CSI: NY: “Sweet 16″ — 8:00pm ET/PT on CBS. Repeat — While investigating the death of a base jumper, Mac, Danny and Det. Flack discover the body of a trainer found brutally murdered on his roof and whose pigeons where poisoned. Meanwhile, Stella, Lindsay and Dr. Hawkes arrive at an elaborate Sweet 16 party that turned deadly when the birthday girl’s father is found dead behind the wheel of her new $60,000 dollar car.

The Lost Pyramid — 8:00pm ET/PT on History Channel. Repeat — Travel to Egypt and join a team of archaeologists who have uncovered what evidence reveals is the lost fourth pyramid of Giza. Radjedef, son of the great Khufu, would stamp his supremacy by erecting the highest pyramid ever built, towering some 60 feet above Khufu’s Great Pyramid of Giza. However, Radjedef’s pyramid was forgotten and almost buried beneath the encroaching desert sands and its significance to the three great pyramids was lost. State-of-the-art CGI demonstrates how all four pyramids were connected. Interwoven through the exciting finds of this new excavation is the story of the most powerful, prolific, and arguably, the most cruel and debauched of all Egypt’s dynasties.

The Haunted Mansion — 8:00pm ET/PT on ABC. A workaholic real estate agent accepts an invitation to bring his family to a spooky, dilapidated mansion, but he and his kids soon find themselves aiding the house’s ghost population in order to save his wife from the master’s amorous advances. Eddie Murphy, Terence Stamp, Wallace Shawn, Marsha Thomason, and Jennifer Tilly.

Days of Thunder — 8:00pm ET/PT on CMT. Tom Cruise guns the engine in this action drama about a stock-car racer. Tom Cruise, Robert Duvall, Nicole Kidman, Randy Quaid, and Cary Elwes.

National Treasure — 8:00pm ET/PT on USA. Descended down from a family of treasure-seekers, a modern-day treasure hunter and a National Archives curator seek to protect the Declaration of Independence and a Revolutionary War artifact belonging to the Founding Fathers from being stolen. Nicolas Cage, Harvey Keitel, Jon Voight, Diane Kruger, and Sean Bean.

Wedding Crashers — 8:00pm ET/PT on TBS. Womanizing friends who sneak into weddings to prey on romantically inspired female guests come to be at odds when one of them falls in love. Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Christopher Walken, Rachel McAdams, and Isla Fisher.

Shrek — 8:00pm ET/PT on TNT. A curmudgeonly ogre and his partner, Donkey, undertake a treacherous quest to save an imperiled princess from a dragon-guarded tower in order for the great Lord Farquaad to marry her, but he finds himself reluctantly drawn to his new charge. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and John Lithgow.

Silence of the Lambs — 8:00pm ET/PT on A&E. An FBI trainee enlists the aid of a imprisoned, psychopathic genius, Hannibal Lecter, in the hunt for a serial killer; Lecter agrees to help, but demands that she delve into her own psychological issues, while secretly he is planning his escape. Jodie Foster, Anthony Hopkins, Scott Glenn, Anthony Heald, and Ted Levine.

The Others — 8:00pm ET/PT on Oxygen. In 1945, an Englishwoman moves her kids into a spooky mansion while awaiting her husband’s return from the war. A well-crafted, atmospheric ghost story. Nicole Kidman, Alakina Mann, James Bentley, Fionnula Flanagan, and Christopher Eccleston.

Camp Rock — 8:00pm ET/PT on Disney. Uplifting, song-filled tale about a teen who attends a summer camp for aspiring singers and musicians, where she meets a spoiled pop star who reluctantly teaches there to repair his tarnished image. Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas, and Maria Canals Barrera.

Matilda — 8:00pm ET/PT on ABC Family. Danny DeVito directed and co-stars in an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s fantasy about a super-intelligent child whose self-absorbed parents send her to a brutal school, where she uses her brilliance to survive. Danny DeVito, Rhea Perlman, Mara Wilson, Embeth Davidtz, and Pam Ferris.

Cops: “Evidence, What Evidence Special Edition (CP-2007)” — 8:30pm ET/PT on Fox. Repeat — When Officers Jason Moss and David Honick of the Pittsburgh, PA, Bureau of Police assist in the pursuit of a repeat narcotics felon, they not only find the suspect’s discarded stash, but also find that a K-9 unit was hungry for a capture. Also featured is FTO Mike Helms of the Brevard, FL, County Sheriff’s Office, who acts as a human lie detector when a drunk driver entangles herself in a web of dishonesty.

America’s Most Wanted: “Episode 2136″ — 9:00pm ET/PT on Fox. This crime-fighting program focuses on capturing fugitives, protecting victims and empowering citizens within the criminal justice system. The series also takes an in-depth look at laws that harm victims, champions the cause of lawmakers fighting to protect victims’ rights and presents news of recent captures, convictions and missing children cases.

Robin Hood: “Lardner’s Ring” — 9:00pm ET/PT on BBC America. A mortally wounded, one-legged messenger from King Richard flees Locksley Manor pursued by Gisborne’s men and ends up in the arms of Robin. With his dying breath, he tells Robin that the King needs him to return to the Holy Land, and he utters the word “Lardner”. The Sheriff is furious that the messenger has escaped, especially now that he and Gisborne are also on the hunt for “Lardner” – they received a prediction from a fortune-telling Fool that the “Ring of Lardner” would spell trouble. When Will and Djaq discover that Locksley Village is being scoured for Lardner’s ring, Djaq tells Robin what “Lardner” really is – a Saracen carrier pigeon. Consequently, Robin’s reply to King Richard will only take days to reach him. While Robin and Marian go to the last place they saw the King’s messenger, the gang composes a note to the King. Unfortunately, just as Robin and Marian reach “Lardner”, the Sheriff and Gisborne arrive. Surrounded, and trapped in a tree, Robin and Marian realise that unless they resort to desperate measures they will face certain death.

Holmes on Homes: “Shaky Foundation” — 9:00pm ET/PT on TLC. Season Premiere — Mike Holmes is called in after Jeff and Lorrie discover that the concrete foundation of their house is not nearly up to code. Mike and his team come up with a plan to rebuild the foundation and even ensure any further damage.

The Unit: “Every Step You Take” — 9:00pm ET/PT on CBS. Repeat — Bob, Williams and Grey are charged with rescuing a group of Embassy personnel and their families who are under attack in Abidjan, while Jonas tests his daughter’s strength and conviction when she decides to enlist.

Law & Order: “Political Animal” — 9:00pm ET/PT on NBC. Repeat — When three roommates are found dead in their apartment Detectives Ed Green (Jesse L. Green) and Cyrus Lupo’s (Jeremy Sisto) initial examination of the crime scene suggests a murder-suicide amongst jealous lovers. This notion is quickly dismissed when the detectives discover one of the victims, Todd Stewart (guest star Jonathan Sale) an environmental attorney, had a closeted relationship with a prominent political figure. After the politician’s fingerprints don’t match the prints on the murder weapon the investigation shifts focus to Victor Vargas, a political fundraiser who gave the detectives their first lead. When Vargas’ address turns out to be bogus and then a little background research uncovers a past of illegal activities including fraud, the detectives realize they’ve got their guy. But no one is prepared for the lengths to which Vargas will go and who among his political allies he will turn on to keep his freedom.

A paranoid man exercises tyrannical control over his complacent family, and convinces them that the relic they smuggled out of Peru has evil spirits trying to find it; his unbridled hatred of snakes complicates a neighbors friendly overtures. Billy Drago, Brad Johnson, Wendy Carter, Keith Stone, and George Zlatarev.

Harold & Kumar go to White Castle — 9:00pm ET/PT on Comedy Central. Two stoners with the munchies take a whopper of a trip through New Jersey in search of a hamburger joint. John Cho, Kal Penn, Paula Garces, David Krumholtz, Neil Patrick Harris, Ryan Reynolds, Fred Willard, Ethan Embry, and Eddie Kaye Thomas.

Eli Stone: “Pilot” — 10:00pm ET/PT on ABC. Repeat — Driven by ambition, Eli Stone has built a successful career at a top San Francisco law firm in representing the biggest and richest corporations. After experiencing a series of odd hallucinations, including a crooning vision of George Michael, Eli turns to his neurologist brother, Nathan, only to be told there’s nothing wrong with him. As the visions persist, he seeks the help of Dr. Chen, a Chinese acupuncturist who specializes in holistic medicine. Eli’s visions begin to affect his practice and his relationships, but it’s not until he puts his own life in peril that Nathan recognizes similar episodes their father shared and discovers Eli is suffering from an inoperable brain aneurysm.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent: “Contract” — 10:00pm ET/PT on NBC. Repeat — A gossip columnist is killed and there’s a wide range of people who are suspects.

Quest For Dragons — 10:00pm ET/PT on History Channel. Repeat — A spirited exploration of the history, science, and legend of the world’s most notorious beast–the dragon, the best-known creature that never was. Throughout history, dragons influenced wars, science, art, and religion. They appear in almost every culture and many still believe in dragons. How could different cultures, isolated by geology and millennia, all invent the same creature? If the dragon is simply the product of our imagination, how could distant peoples, with no knowledge of each other, all invent the same beast? One of the reasons dragons are a perennial favorite is that even though they are the ultimate predator and antagonist, it’s also fun to identify with them. In the end, we want to be the dragon as much as we may want to slay the dragon.

48 Hours Mystery: “The Sugar Land Conspiracy” — 10:00pm ET/PT on CBS. Repeat — Kevin Whitaker and his best friend are killed in Sugar Land, Texas as the family returns from dinner. Trisha, his mother, was shot as well as she follows him in the house. Kevin and Trisha didn’t survive. As the investigation progresses it becomes apparent, that the murders weren’t random, but a planned assassination by Kevin’s brother Brad.

Unforgiven — 10:30pm ET/PT on CMT. Clint Eastwood directed and stars in this Oscar winner about a former gunslinger who’s lured into a bounty hunt. Daggett: Gene Hackman (Best Supporting Actor Oscar winner). Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, Richard Harris, and Jaimz Woolvett.

Saturday Night Live: “George Carlin; Janis Ian; Billy Preston” — 11:30pm ET/PT on NBC. Repeat The October 1975 premiere, with host George Carlin, Andy Kaufman, and music guests Janis Ian and Billy Preston. Included: Killer Bees maternity ward; Kaufman sings “Mighty Mouse.” Music includes “At Seventeen” and “Nothing from Nothing.”
