Last week Tony called off the hit on Pussy and this week nobody know what where he is still. Our heads are a bit shaken up now, because Pussy could very well be the rat. Tony is also shaken up about this, because he thinks Pussy could possibly be dead. So now Tony is unshaven, dirty looking, and he’s going through a depression of sorts. Things start to look up somewhat when he meets this beautiful, young, italian woman that’s living next door at Cusumano’s. Tony and her get along real well, and he seems as comfortable talking to her as he does Dr. Melfi.

Meanwhile Junior already has the hit set. Our pulses were racing, because first we wanted to know how the hit was going to happen, and it was interesting to see how Tony was going to be able to survive it. By a freak coincidence the hit couldn’t be done on the day originally intended. So the men hit Tony the next day. Unfortunately they messed with the wrong Soprano, because Tony fought them off with his bare hands, killing one and leaving the other rolling in the streets. So it seems like Juniors hit has failed. The scene where the guys ambush Tony was great to watch, shot very well, and it was just great watching Tony fend off the guy, escaping with cuts, but still alive.

Livia was also interesting as she always is, because it seems like even though she’s still evil that she is starting to develop Alzheimer’s, because she didn’t even remember Meadow. Junior thinks that this is some kind of ploy, but it seems like it might be the real deal.

This was a great episode and did a great job making Isabella seem real, because it turns out that this was all a figment of his imagination and they even answered the question of how could it be a figment when Carmella saw her? Turns out he dreamed that up too. This was another homerun for The Sopranos. It was another episode where we were on the edge of our seats to see how Tony would escape this. James Gandolfini has also done a good job of totally drawing us in, because you really feel the depression coming from Tony, and he almost makes you feel depressed though the episode. With Pussy missing and Junior’s hit gone bad, you can bet the season finale is going to be action packed.
