Thanks to TVGuide reporter Michael Ausiello, we have learned that CSI alum Jorja Fox will be returning to the hit series next season for a single episode appearance. She and the studios have reportedly inked a deal which would bring the actress back for the premiere of season nine.
What role she will have is still not known for sure, but it is widely speculated that Jorja Fox’s character Sara Sidle will come back to Las Vegas to mourn the shooting and possible death of colleague Warrick Brown (played by Gary Dourdan).

Too bad!!! She is not much of an actress and I was thrilled to see her gone last season. May need to find something else to watch on Thursday night.
