With Amber and Carol nominated for eviction, time had come for the power of veto competition. The winner of the veto competition was Daniele, and she therefore had the ability to either leave Kail’s nominations as they are, or she could take one of them off of the block. For a while, it appeared that Daniele may use the veto and take someone off and have Kail nominated Jen. It seems Jen is getting on everyone’s last nerve this week. She has about 40 t-shirts which have her name on it and several people voiced their disgust for them on Tuesday. But, when all was said and done, Daniele left the nominations alone. It was a smart decision in my opinion, as it’s just too early to stir things up. Using the power of veto on someone can often result in you becoming a target, and Daniele isn’t looking to become a target this early.
In this episode, Joe and Dustin finally had a civil discussion about their differences. It was quite brief, however, and it looks like they are going to take it one day at a time. Dustin realizes their outbursts disrupt the harmony in the house and make them targets for nomination and eviction. It’s good to see he has noticed this, as there have been one or two people who have voiced the same feelings about the two former lovers.
In the previous episode, viewers were given more information on “America’s Player”. We were given the option of which house guest Eric should make up a sad story and tell it to. The voters decided on Kail, who is also the current head of household. Unfortunately, CBS edited out the majority of the story, so the details are a little sketchy, and Kail ate it up. An easy $10,000 for Eric, just as I predicted.
