Jon starts off by talking about the show, George Clooney, Hurricane Rita, and God, yes God. Jon asks God, what part of “God Bless America” don’t you get?

Jon gets right into the news, starting off with Democracy. Jon starts off with the Germans, where there is going to be a run-off election because the election was so close. Jon then talked about Afghanistan, where Democracy is on the crawl. Lastly, Jon talks about North Korea, where they has been a few important developments between them and the US government. Jon talked specifically to Kim Jong Il, telling him not to screw up the deal, you’ve gotten an agreement from President Bush saying he won’t attack you.

What is Homeland Security doing to keep us safe? They’re apparently keeping the “Packalope” from entering football games in Green Bay because of his antler-helmet. Rob Corddry interviews “The Spiking Viking” as well as a security expert. The Spiking Viking didn’t seem to have a problem with the policy so much, but rather had a problem with the Packer fan.

After a commercial, Jon turns to the Gaza Strip for an update. The update included clips of people trashing houses in the Gaza Strip, and Shimon Perez making an appearance at a school. There was then an Israel-Palistinian beauty contest. This was somewhat funny in the first half, but the second half, when he talked about Shimon Perez was boring.

After a commercial break, Jon beings out actor, George Clooney. Jon just can’t get over the fact he’s so handsome. The interview was entirely about his movie, and it was a bit more of you-better-know-your-hist ory sort of interviews. Much of what they talked about was something many people, especially young people, have no idea about the history of journalism.

Rob’s segment was pretty silly, but funny. The low point was definitely the interview. It just wasn’t interesting, the movie didn’t interest me, and frankly, George Clooney just doesn’t interest me.
